Last summer I passed by Pineda de Mar and was lucky enough to come across Restaurant Diagonal. The seafood paella was amazing and I recommend it to everyone who dines there. On top of the amazing food the staff were fantastic, very hospitable and kind. Definitely a must when visiting Pineda de Mar. My husband and I were recommended this restaurant for my birthday meal. We called in earlier to book as it was a Saturday night. We were offered a great table which allowed our dog to sit in peace whilst we eat. The choices on the menus were good and we were also offered the specials of fish of the day. I had prawn cocktail to start and my husband had a Mediterrà nia salad. Both were a delight. My mains was fillet steak and my husbands monkfish both again cooked to perfection and our liking. The staff were helpful responsive and friendly. I realise it was a quiet time of year so not as busy as summer. The overall experience was very good and value for money. We would definitely go again.

So glad we found this place, 10 minutes walk from our hotel. Right on the beach, we sat with cocktails & tapas watching the sea & then a torrential downpour & lightning over the sea! The service was perfect, friendly & attentive. Very reasonably priced and lovey food & drinks. We went back a second time & received the same friendly service, good food & drinks! Very lovely place, would definitely recommend & return here.

Hoy he ido a través del Tenedor a este restaurante que valoraban bien y decÃan que habÃa cambiado de dirección y me he encontrado con la agradable sorpresa de encontrarme a parte de la antigua plantilla de Can Flores, en concreto uno de sus pilares Carrasco que nos ha atendido estupendamente, como siempre y hemos podido comprobar que siguen y seguirán la lÃnea de el exitoso Can Flores con la intención de mejorarlo.Hemos comido un menu de 19⬠buenÃsimo, y tienen previsto hacer los famosos platos de dÃa, no olvidemos la sangrÃa de cava Blanquenca.

If you love seafood, this is the place to go! Situated in the city center, in front of the beach, very beautiful view! We went there for lunch and we made the reservation one hour before. They were very nice and offered us a table outside. We tried calamares anadaluza, gambas à la plancha and sépia à la plancha. Everything was delicious. Waiters very nice also. The pictures talk by themselves. I recommend reservation.

We arrived before opening time, as a group of 8 we were worried as we had not booked.... They let us in to look at the menu before opening (thankyou) ... Between us all chicken,steak,fish and paella were sampled... Everything was delicious, I will definitely be returning...Thankyou from us all x

Just got back from our breathtaking meal this evening. Went for some paella after seeing some reviews on here, was a hundred times better than I could have imagined. A selection of starters including calamari and mussels followed by the most beautiful seafood paella, and then dessert! All in for â¬20 each and then we had some sangria too. Would recommend this place to anybody looking for seafood based dishes. Honestly we were both so amazed by this place! Love it and the staff are lovely too! Hope to be back!

Lovely food but we found a bit on the expensive side. Friendly staff and given extra special attention by the owner Mr. Pepe but be warned even though he gives little extras that you think is free he does charge you for some of it so donât be fooled! Also it after the second time visiting and not leaving a tip as we realized only after the first night that their bill included service charge but gave extra, Mr. Pepe was not as friendly. Itâs a shame because it spoilt our experience and nothing felt genuine after that. We were happy to have found other nice places to eat for the rest of our stayDear Hellen,thank you for your review. All our dishes are cooked with local fresh high quality products, which have a value. As for the tip, in Spain it is not compulsory and service is included everywhere. Tips are considered as a way to appreciate service. It is always up to customers and, of course, it does not affect manners. Besides, bills also must include taxes.
