Went here twice during our 7 day holiday, was hands down the best restaurant in town for atmosphere,value,food rating,staff and views out to the sea.We were staying at the nearby Gran Melia ..a 5 min walk along the promenade.The waiters all were helpful and charming,kitchen staff all busy , the place was constantly buzzing which to me is a sign its popular for a reason.Pizza was amazing,Im a pizza master so I know what I'm talking about,,,just right thickness of crust,toppings all on point and great flavour.Seafood spaghetti was other dish I ate here,superb also.Nice decor inside , seating available outside looking out to sea...highly recommended

We have visited this establishment for many years but the staff seem to have changed and although the menu is the same the quality of the service and the food is poor. the waitress was not attentive and the food very ordinary. Not what we have enjoyed in the past

Overlooking the adapted beach/harbour of Alcala this is a real find. The location is perfect and beautifully done out in cool wooden whites and blues. The service is perfect and friendly and if you like fish you will love it. the menu is small, but takes advantage of whatever is caught that day and cooked in various ways. a perfect quiet meal.Oh and try the Tuna Carpaccio with mango to start, it is heaven on a plate !Dear Customer, Thank you very much for leaving your opinion and giving us a high recommendation.We are delighted to have surprised you and enjoyed the culinary experience and the service offered.We hope to retell your presence again.Receive a greeting.Restaurante Muelle Viejo.

My wife ate here in May. View from terrace with sunset wonderful. Food was average compared what is available elsewhere but oh dear the service. You may not like customers but at least smile and act as if you enjoy your job. it will also boost your gratuity. Ate here 1st night. Did not return !!. In addition they were on a mission to sell their fish of the day ( remortgage job ) ?

If you like seafood, and no frills, this is one of the best places ever.There is no menu, but a selection of the freshest seafood you can get anywhere. This is not a fancy place, but the food is absolutely amazing, without being complicated. Wholeheartedly recommended!!

We come to the GM Hotel a couple of times a year and just Love Dining in El Ricon. Jose is excellent. The dishes tried (and recommended) are Padron Peppers, Mixed Croquettes, Pesto Pasta, Avocado & Prawn Salad, escalope of Chicken in a Mushroom Sauce with the best local double cooked chips, Hamburger & peppercorn Sauce. All dishes are cooked to order and taste superb. Great value for money Dining. Do not judge a book by its cover.

Went here for an evening meal with my dad, we had a three course meal. It was a lovely evening overlooking the sea and watching the sun setting. The atmosphere was lovely, has a Spanish garden feel to it. I had the fillet steak, and omg, any steak I have now is nothing in comparison to the steak I had here, I could still taste it. I am going back on holiday to Purerto de Santiago and will definitely be having another steak from here. Staff were lovely and very attentive

...but the setting is lovely, designed to catch a refreshing cool breeze, & with nice sea views. The proprietor was charming, explaining that he wasn't serving food until 12 noon, which was fine by us. (It was around 11). The menu looked very interesting, & the coffees were delicious. Just a shame that, being on full board in our hotel, we couldn't go back to eat there. It looks like a little gem.

not a short trip for us to drive here but we do every time we are over because of the great food, hospitality and view of the cliffs.I am flabbergasted at the very negative recent review from 'AdamsFamilyx4' (odd name, could explain all) but all reviews have two sides , especially the negative ones and should be treated accordingly. Helpful votes from the other members of the party I presume, so not very helpful......Your message particularly affects us, on the one hand because you took the time to write it, personally, but also because you knew how to "read between the lines" and see for yourself the injustice of the one who precedes, and on the other hand because indeed in each story there are two versions. We hesitated a lot but preferred not to answer it, so much we prefer not to give credit to the gratuitous, totally useless wickedness. Know finally that we thank you and that we are happy that you had a good time with us.

We booked a table here after reading the amazing reviews but I must say I feel the majority of these are grossly exaggerated . itâs true that the pasta is good and seems to be freshly made but unfortunately that is where the positives end. The starters were poor and the fried cheese soggy and inedible .The staff were friendly and efficient but the fact that the manager kept leaving the restaurant to stand in full view outside smoking was very off putting and unhygienic.Se davvero fosse stata nostra ospite saprebbe che non c'è un direttore ...e che nella nostra terrazza vista mare è vietato fumare la invito a farci visita davvero un saluto
