Walking into the restaurant was a dramatic experience. You are struck by an amazing view. This alone makes the restaurant fantastic and it was easily the best view of our trip. The sunset was stunning. Equally as good was the service. We had two tables (4 people and 2 people). Since it had just rained, they arranged two sets of tables, inside and outside. The inside tables were still âoutsideâ since it was on a porch with an overhang. We were offered a move once the rain was guaranteed. Our table of two moved to the edge of the water and the group of 4 stayed on the beautiful terrace. When finished, we relaxed on comfy couches and enjoyed the view. The food was equally as good as the view. With six people, we had the entire range of the menu. All said it was fantastic. They offered two menus, a western and Thai. Most of our group ate from the Thai menu. I had the chefs set menu and was blown away. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the menu so I can comment on each item. Regardless, there were four courses and all were amazing. I took one picture of one course and will post it. Overall, a night we will never forget.

Gone downhill since we last went there a few years ago. Loud music and disinterested staff. Food was very average and the whole experience was extremely disappointing. There are so many good restaurants to choose from in Kamala - give this one a miss.

About the restaurant itself: The upstairs dining area is nice, good fans and overlooking the street. Waitstaff are friendly and were attentive and spoke decent English. About the food: Thai-tourist fare. Good enough presentation but not as flavorful as you would hope. A good place to sit out a rain squall but I probably would not go back.

Had lunch here and a few cocktails afterwards. All very tasty. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great spot on the beach.

We used this restaurant as a shelter from torrential downpour as we escaped from the beach and it turned out to be fairly decent place. Reasonably priced food and drink and of good quality and good size portions. Staff was very polite too. Would go back.

Waited over 2 years to use the lift. The old walk up was exhausting. The lift takes the pain away. Changes your approach and totally impressed with the structural changes to both Skylounge and Plum Restaurant. My big thumbs up and of course the view is spectacular even with a heavy cloudStarted with gin- why not in a place that is heading to 100 gins from all over the world. The choice of glasses with big ice balls is only the first step. A box containing a choice of 8 garnishes to complement the gin is then presented and when my favourite of a torn Italian basil leaf is not included the staff bring it within a minuteThen down to Plum restaurant- one floor down in the lift. Menus are set out on on iPad with clear description but this reinforced with further suggestions from Alex. (I made the mistake of thinking he was French but his mum was from Mexico and Dad was Romanian) who has the style and attention of someone from the great restaurants of Europe. We order rack of veal and a lamb rump. Superb taste but itâs the presentation that stuns combined with the choice of sauces Alex then does a nitrogen instant vanilla ice cream with Belgian Chocolate at the table to finishAs Bailli of La Chaine de Rotisseurs in Phuket Iâm usually highly critical but this was a no fault super experienceTake a bow GM Frank and F&B Pepe you stunned my guests and I last night. Found that restaurant at our first night and came back every day! The variety of the food is very good. Thai food, Pizza, salads and fresh fish food ..... everything fresh made and very tasty!!!The team is just awesome! They are always so friendly and try to fulfill you every wish. The restaurant is in first row , so you can enjoy the sunset. We will come back!!!!!

Well, that was 5 months ago ... I already posted here a great recommendation ..... and now ?Even better ! The staff is super professional, at a very rare level in Thailand, the food is absolutely fresh and delicious, fish perfectly cooked, the staff tells you which fish is farmed and shush other fish is from the sea. Simply the best 2 km around .... easy to check, itâs 09pm, itâs full and still people come to have dinner when all other restaurants 2 km around are absolutely empty ! Success well deserved !Bravo

We ate at Blue Manao several times during our holiday in Kamala both this year and last year. Food was always of a very high standard. The green curry is particularly good, so would recommend it. Service is also good. Restaurant is definitely one of the best in Kamala so I would advise booking in advance, especially during high season. Prices are very competitive, especially given the quality of the food served.Thank you for coming many times at the blue manao.We hope to see you again on your next visit.Blue manao team.

Every time we visit this lovely town called Kamala we have to stop by The Deck.Never regreted being here and have always been satisfied and left happy.A new grilled dish called Maajuka has beed added to the menu since we were last here so we tried it and it was phenominal.New lovely service staff have also joined the team preparing for high season.Happy as always.
