SILK was a nice venue with excellent food. Located in the Ananda hotel. One of the few "fine dining" options in Kamala. Service was good but not with the usual "Thai smile". While prices are more expensive than other restaurants in Kamala, the prices were very reasonable and the food was worth it . Also the wine shop in the hotel that you go past getting to the restaurant is worth a visit. For wine in Thailand, it had a nice selection with broad price range.

I am a solo traveller who was staying in disappointing accommodation in Phuket, checked out and moved to Cape Sienna. After therefore overspending on my so called budget I did so on the basis I'd eat sensibly.
After seeing the Plum Prime restaurant and it's menu I couldn't help myself and quite frankly I don't regret whatever my final bill is (thank you Amex).
It was for me a one-off experience. I'd not be able to eat there every night, but it was so special I think if you are in Kamala Beach or staying in the Cape Sienna it's a must-try.
Tip: don't over-order - I did!
My starter (salad) was huge and when a beautiful variety of warm breads and home-made butter is brought to the table, it's hard not to try! I did therefore fill up a bit on bread! Fail - but my....as bread and butter goes - so totally worth it.
Staff - delightful but not overly cliche 'mop your brow'.
Atmosphere - in my opinion could only have been beaten had I had company (certainly not the restaurants fault) but an excuse to do it again right?
Food - chosen via iPad (novel & fun) Beautifully presented. I had lobster - at the point why not eh?! And for something that wasn't over sauced like the UK - truly scrummy and a flavour I'd not experienced before due perhaps to the heavy sauces i'd previously experienced.
I also was bought two mini in-between courses. I must admit I was on delicious cocktails and don't recall what they were but again incredible presentation and a simple but effective burst of flavour (one was definitely frozen so almost a palet cleanser).
Thank you Plum for an exquisite and unique experience I won't forget, begrudge spending the money on or hesitate bringing company to one day...what a way to start 2018!

We met our German friends and they turned us onto this place. Best food for the money in the area. German food, Thai food, pasta all were very good here.Thank you for coming many time at the blue manao. We hope to see you again next time. Blue manao team.

Had many meals here which were a great prices, delicious food and so much to choose from the menu. Service was brilliant and very friendly staff. Great Bar area and even has a Pool Table. They even do Take Away, gotta love that also. Definately come here you will not be disappointed

Came here for breakfast on one of the mornings in Kamala. And then returned for a German beer before heading to the airport. The breakfast was pretty average, the coffee was downright bad. But the German beer was cold and went down well. Overall acceptable enough.

Hello, thank you very much for the spoiled rest. The day before yesterday came to your restaurant (3 people) and ordered three burgers. 2 with beef and one for me with chicken. On this day, I ate nothing more and did not drink.
In the morning I had vomiting, fever and pain in muscles and bones. In the evening, due to the fact that I got worse, I went to the hospital.After the inspection, infectious poisoning was withdrawn. The treatment cost 7,200 baht. But it's nothing compared to how bad it was. In Phuket for the third time and always live in this area.We know that you have few guests, because of the expensive. And yet all the same decided to come to you. I ask you to check all the products. That other people do not suffer.If there was time and opportunity, I would certainly file a lawsuit against you. But I still have treatment, but at home.

why bother making an effort ? It's thai food for russian, german, british etc, tourists who might not realise they are being served lousy food. Greasy fried spring rolls (and the oil had seen better days...), no taste, no flavour... This is just another sad tourist trap on Kamala beach. Sad.

A little gem on the main street but worth a stop for dinner.
The food is brilliant and the service superb.
Great attention to the two small children in our family group.
We had seafood pad thai, penang curry, chicken with basil and a veggie stir fry.
Fantastic and at a superb price DO TRY IT1

Considering the prices of the meals at our hotel we went out quite often for meal times. This place is amazing and the food here is reasonably priced and tastes lovely. We went a few times in our holiday as it was so good. The live musoc was good as well as the welcome we received.
