Today we took a wrong turn when looking for somewhere to eat lunch and found ourselves outside Bua Restaurant. Menu looked good so in we went. We had our pick of the tables so we chose a table over looking the little river below us complete with a couple of boats and sandy shore.We ordered green chicken curry and pad thai; not at all adventurous but it was good, especially the green chicken curry; so good we ate every last drop of the sauce.An atmospheric location with good food and lovely staff - not much not to like. We'll be back.

A family evening meal with a good choice of both Tai and traditional international dishes overlooking Kampala bay A local singer with a good voice , nice guitar technique but questionable enunciation sat at one end playing a wide selection of 60âs and 70,s hits . The food was interesting -salads and cucumber soup very tasty but the steamed fish had an acceptable but unusual taste . The pizza went down well . Visited for dinner with the family. Fantastic service but very average food.We all ordered a Thai rice dish and then felt unwell later in the evening. Perhaps the added MSG, but who knows.Good value, fantastic serving staff, but we wonât be back.

We called in just for a lunch time drink, but ended up also having a sandwich & chips which cannot be faulted. The young lady server went out of her way to ensure that we were more than happy with our visit, and to ensure that the next time we visit Kamala next year that we shall visit again

Found that restaurant at our first night and came back every day! The variety of the food is very good. Thai food, Pizza, salads and fresh fish food ..... everything fresh made and very tasty!!!The team is just awesome! They are always so friendly and try to fulfill you every wish. The restaurant is in first row , so you can enjoy the sunset. We will come back!!!!!

Well, that was 5 months ago ... I already posted here a great recommendation ..... and now ?Even better ! The staff is super professional, at a very rare level in Thailand, the food is absolutely fresh and delicious, fish perfectly cooked, the staff tells you which fish is farmed and shush other fish is from the sea. Simply the best 2 km around .... easy to check, itâs 09pm, itâs full and still people come to have dinner when all other restaurants 2 km around are absolutely empty ! Success well deserved !Bravo

Went for a nice meal here while holidaying in Kamala Beach, read a lot of good reviews. Really nice hotel and restaurant, we had the chicken green curry and the slow cooked pork belly. Both meals were of high standard and the service was great however we left after our main course due to the loud rude and arrogant two guys sitting near to us. Cursing and swearing loudly, obviously had too much to drink. Disrespecting the female waitresses but the hotel said nothing to them. Spending money appears to be better than polite custom. Spoilt what could have been a nice evening. Dear Derek M, First of all we wish to thank you for visiting our Silk Restaurant & Bar and praising our services and the great food.However we are saddened to hear that you had an unpleasant experience due to a neighboring table and certainly extend our sincere apologies. We ate at Blue Manao several times during our holiday in Kamala both this year and last year. Food was always of a very high standard. The green curry is particularly good, so would recommend it. Service is also good. Restaurant is definitely one of the best in Kamala so I would advise booking in advance, especially during high season. Prices are very competitive, especially given the quality of the food served.Thank you for coming many times at the blue manao.We hope to see you again on your next visit.Blue manao team.

Every time we visit this lovely town called Kamala we have to stop by The Deck.Never regreted being here and have always been satisfied and left happy.A new grilled dish called Maajuka has beed added to the menu since we were last here so we tried it and it was phenominal.New lovely service staff have also joined the team preparing for high season.Happy as always. We had our food at evening time and found good in taste. Seating in open with roofs .. and good ambience make this restaurant great. We had Paobhaji and other food items. Carry your own water bottles here.. or pay 60/- bath for 500 ml water. Can have food here for sure...
