We heard a great deal about this restaurant over the years.Recently we decided to take the plunge and dine here!
This restaurant is top class with wonderful service- particularly from Patricio and her colleagues
This is a Michelin star restaurant with all that goes with it - excellent food wine services and price.
Lovely place for diner a deux but expensive for a family outing or with guests.
A gem of a place.

Where to go off season ? You would not go wrong coming to montys. We arrived at about 10.15 pm and the band didn't come on until 10.40pm . Great selection of music and plenty of room for a boogie if you're up for it....MoreThank you for your comments regarding the entertainment at Montys. This Resturant has spectacular views and very good food , however the service is dreadful it wasn’t full so Is wasn’t because they were busy .
It is great value for money especially with such wonderful views .

This is like any restaurant at the Praca that gets very busy early evening onward so would always advise booking in advance as you may have to wait a while for a table if you just turn up. We visited the Xenia Bar and Restaurant whilst staying in Val do Lobo. The positive comments already seen on trip advisor were pleasingly accurate and we were pleased we visited. The restaurant is extremely well decorated with lovely comfortable furnishings. The front of house hos to were Ronny and Gay and they could not have been more helpful and friendly. We started with a few drinks at the bar there was nice music playing and the atmosphere was fun and friendly and not too formal but smart at the same time. We then ventured to the outside pool bar as they were showing sport on the superbly located outside televisions which are protected from the sun so it leads to a fantastic place to watch live sport but at wither same time enjoy the sun and outside. This is quite unique in my opinion. There is also a very large swimming pool so I am sure if you feel so inclined and bring your swimming gear you could enjoy the pool. We were really impressed with this quality restaurant and no bar and will definitely be visiting again. In fact it would be quite easy to spend a lot of time at this place.

La Terrazza serves authentic Italian food, specialising in pizza and pasta dishes but with a variety of fish and meat dishes on our menu, its enough to satisfy pretty much any appetite. The comfortable Italian themed dining room gives an authentic & cosy atmosphere, whilst the outside Terrace is the perfect choice for family dining in the summer evenings whilst listening to the live music acts that are centre stage in the Praca.

10 of us including 3 children and a baby turned up just as the restaurant was opening and asked if there was any chance of a table as we had not booked. The manageress said they were busy but had a table for 10 reserved and we could have it if we were through by 8pm - that was over 2 hours off so not a problem and thanked her for being so accommodating. We sat down, the baby had a high chair provided immediatley and the other children crayons and a menu to colour in. In no time our drinks and food orders were taken. Whilst we were waiting for the meals to arrive we enjoyed some beautifully fresh focaccia bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The meals when they arrived were excellent and the only bits left were some of the children's pizzas which the manageress had boxed up for us to take away. One of my son in laws cleared up his plate of monkfish tails and then declared it to be one of the best meals he had ever had, and he's not a great fish lover. Lovely restaurant with great service and definitely recommended

We went here on our last night at Quinta Do Largo and we had a fantastic evening the staff were brilliant with the children and the food was of a very high standard, myself and my wife had the Lobsger with Pilaff rice, our daughter and her husband had
the Chateubraind with Bearnaise sauce, Our other daughter had the Pork "Secretos" and the other 3 member of our family had the Green Pepper steak,, grilled chicken breast with African rice, Fillet of stone Bass and the children had fish fingers and chips, All were fantastic and whilst slightly expensive it was worth every penny

La Creperie is right in the heart of the Praca at Vale do Lobo and as the name would suggest, we have a menu full of fantastic crepes & Pancakes with a variety of different fillings - there's bound to be something for everybody. The ice-creams and sundaes are also perfect for a bit of holiday indulgence. We are located in the centre of all the action in the summer evenings and host the perfect venue to enjoy the live music acts that are performed on the newly designed stage. If you just fancy a drink before the party scene gets going then La Creperie also provides a fabulous setting for a cocktail whilst watching the sun go down.

Amount of Seating and number of staff in comparison to number of customers is very poor. Always very long queue's and no where to sit which is a shame as many customers are turned away.

Our first visit to a Mexican restaurant and were so happy we went back a second time. Service was fine. Food was delicious. Great location. What more could you want! Attempted something new for a change and will now try again at home.

Went to Arco 31 on a Sunday night, when most other restaurants are closed. It was also our 1st wedding anniversary. An overall good experience.

- Food, true well-cooked italian food
- Environment, well-decorated dining room
- Location, nice and quiet inside Vale dos Pinheiros complex in Quinta do Lago resort
- Service, attentive and fast
Less Positive
- Price, a bit expensive (45€/person without wine)
- Staff, lacking a bit of experience and skill (waiter kept calling me and my wife "guys")
