This bakery cum deli cum restaurant serves delicious pies. We love sitting down and ordering pies – although the portions are generous, my husband always orders two pies. The ingredients are fresh and the soda floats are worthwhile. The service is always friendly but could be slow at times.
Ideal for pie lovers.

For a Sunday lunch treat we celebrated my husbands birthday at Bellgables. We haven't been to this restaurant in years and we're reminded of why we liked it all those years ago...the decor is over the top, lavish and thoroughly entertaining, the food was very good, service friendly and efficient.
The little bit extra paid was well worth it. A fun day out!

A reminder of a bygone era, where you can sit and watch the planes come and go. This restaurant offers indoor and outdoor Seating. The breakfast and lunch menus are comprehensive, offering plenty of choice and there's something for those with a sweet tooth too. Portions were generous and pricing was not bad either.

Culinary Table is a family run restaurant, owned and run by father-daughter team Wehrner and Daniela Gutstadt. An ever-changing menu put togehter by chef Daniela (classically trained in NYC at the International Culinary Centre) is the product of seasonal harvests from the organic kitchen garden outside, as well as the co-operation and support for small producers and farmers in South Africa. No compromise is made with the sourcing of ingredients. We have researched, audited, often visited and inspected the farms to ensure our standards are met. No meat is sourced from feed lot production, or mass produced suppliers. Beef, lamb, chicken, duck and pork are all from free roaming, grazing animals. Our breads and pastries are made using slow fermentation and artisan methods. In the bakery we use pure, wholesome flour; no premixes or additives. All our produce and many of the ingredients on the menu are available to buy and take home from the deli. We offer our customers ethical, simply prepared food in a homely, comfortable environment.

I love stopping here to refresh my soul with the views of a country garden, a busy restaurant kitchen, a deli with delights and a store brimful with kitchen paraphernalia and equipment. I have bought some gourmet goodies, and have not yet dined, but the best for me is the coffee! The barista makes a mean macchiato and I return time after time for a quick coffee.
Ideal for all gourmands.

I had the Breakfast Pancake which is a pancake, obviously, with a feta scrambled egg and bacon. The bacon was decent but I disliked the feta/scrambled egg mix ... I would try the ice cream next time

I like a great cup of coffee in the morning especially before a flight. These guys are so good at what they do, serving people before the sun's even up they are heaven sent I tell you!

The setting is really beautiful. There is a lot to do for children there because they have a lake with row boats plenty of ground for children to play and not disturb the people when they are eating. The food was really good. Plenty good starters and main meals to choose from. I had lamb shank which was tender and tasty. The service was very good and a big thank you to Moses who served us. He also has a very good sense of humour. We were 12 people and the food came all at the same time and it was hot. We will definitely go back.
