We visited this restaurant before Christmas when Benidorm was unusually quiet.We were walking around looking for somewhere to have dinner,and came upon The Vagabond.
We asked if they were still serving as there were only 2 other diners inside,but we're warmly welcomed by the friendly owner/chef.
Whilst we were looking at the Menu,a taster of the soup of the day and a couple of nibbles were given.
My partner decided to have the mushroom soup as starter,this was the best ever.I had chicken Caesar salad,it was huge but gorgeous.
My main was prawn curry with whiskey and partner had chicken a la king.Both were lovely.
Although stuffed I managed to just eat a creme caramel,when partner said he didn't eat sweets,the owner said he could do a cheese and biscuits even though it wasn't on menu.Thats what I call excellent customer service!.
We finished off with a couple of complementary liqueurs.
Without a doubt we will definitely call in again on our next visit to Benidorm.It was a real pleasure to meet Fred and his wife,and I wish them a happy and successful 2018!.

Very popular restaurant with both locals and holiday makers. Excellent prices for quality cuisine and high standard of customer care. A restaurant with minimalist tones and great ambiance.Full steakhouse menu plus a wide varity of starter and main course meals cooked to a high standard.Full childrens menu available and large parties catered for.

We have been to this restaurant many times and enjoyed it every time. Unfortunately our last visit was very different. They were very busy ( not that it should be an excuse) my wife went a la carte and chose the prawn salmon and avocado salad not very well presented very short of prawns salmon and avocado, nothing like she had had on other occasions. She then went on to have rack of lamb and asked for it pink, well I have never seen so much blood on a plate! I had the set menu I always have the mussels gratinee ,although they were nicely cooked and juicy,it was hunt the gratinee. I chose the 3 meat dish for main and it was the worst piece of cooking I have every had at this lovely restaurant, it had been cooked to death! Not like me but I left some food on the plate! Quite upsetting for a usually reliable restaurant

Only pleasant memories about this place for eating. We took the tasting market sets and poelia for daughter. The grandlady herself asked as about every dish. She recommend a bottle of vine and it was excellent. The meal was so testy that we could difficultly walked, but ate to the rest. Our daughter was crazy in love with violet ice cream.
Only one problem: Open time. At weekdays it wasn’t open for supper.

Nice modern tapas style place. Nice place to share nice moment with friends or family or even couple. Food is good! Atmosphere very pleasant. Only thing I liked less was the waiters being quite fast ordering, answering questions, bringing the plates and leaving straight away but they are nice though.

Jimmy and Yvette, now helped by Sandra , continue to provide all you need from your local.
Wide range of food available for about 12 hours a day, from breakfast to evening meals, kitchen closes at 2030.
Looking forward to returning in 6 weeks.
