As you wander around the cobbled streets you find lovely little Spanish Tapas bars around every corner. Many offering good value and ideal to stop and do a little people watching. The views from the top are quits stunning, across 3 Beaches, the port, the Mediterranean and peacock island. Easy to spend a nice day just wandering. BUT. Do beware of scammers and pickpockets who also spend their days and nights there trying to relieve you of your money and possessions. Take care.

We got to visit "Placa Del Castell" a few times when we visit Benidorm. The views are spectacular overlooking Poniente, Finestrat & Peacock Island. It's nice and peaceful and sometimes they have a singer/guitarist and a group of men playing pipe music which is very soothing. They sometimes have a few stalls with handcrafted gifts.

The beach to head for in Benidorm. White sand and clean sea, warm enough for a swim even in March. When we were there, weather very sunny and enjoyed a couple of hours ‘chilling out’ on one of the hundreds of Benidorm sunbeds, whilst Britain chilled under the ‘beast from the east’.

Got a taxi up from the indoor market. He charged us 5e 41 cents. It is a long steep climb up, and wouldn’t recommend walking unless fit! Taxi fare was worth every cent. Last 100 yards are steps/uneven ground, so not for the less mobile. I twisted my ankle quite badly so hobbled back down to town in pain. Nice views, worth going up.

We visited as their website said they were open. Made the rip across town. Were they open? Heck no. So went back the next day. Where they open? Heck no. The next day heck yes they were! Lol however as much as I liked the place I can't helped thinking the dolphins were a bit captive and really not in the type or size of tank that they should be - although probably shouldn't be in a tank at all. But hey ho that's just my opinion. Vegans beware! Lol

We had wandered along from where the No 10 bus terminated. Found the castello area, by the sea, sun shining down and Spanish guitarist singing to the diners. Wandering around we came upon the Church unfortunately only open for services. However on Sunday a busy little church with a friendly priest. Wandered down the cobbled streets cafes, shops but lovely atmosphere, not like Blackpool at all............

I booked a mobility scooter in Jan 2017 to hire a mobility scooter on 22 Dec 2017 we arrived at our hotel and waited for the scooter to be delivered but it did not turn up we tried to phone the company ADA scooters but could not get a reply
our hotel receptionist also tried but could not get them
so we hired a scooter from another company
2 days later we found where their shop was and asked them to refund my payment and they said they could not do that as I had paid by paypal they could have refunded it back by paypal
after numerous requests through paypal and telephone and emails to the company with no response I had to contact my bank to do a charge back I would strongly advise anyone not to use ADA scooters
