Amazing stay at Sky Eco near West Glacier, MT.

Reviewed By Excursion19923876562

Wow, Sky Eco was absolutely amazing. Owners Thomas & Sky knocked it out of the park with their friendly and accommodating attitude. We rented the Tesla for the whole week, and the super cool E-Bikes for a day of riding trails around the West Glacier entrance and into Lake McDonald. There’s lots of other cabin/lodge accommodations to choose from in the Coram, MT area, but none as close to the West Glacier entrance that rent E-Bikes, Tesla’s, and inflatable kayaks and rafts which make Sky Eco such a great place. On top of all that, the one room cabins with full bathroom and massive flat screen TV make the evenings enjoyable. Each cabin has a nifty front porch that faces the sun in the afternoon, with two comfortable chairs perfect for happy hour ??. Finally, the other key attribute of this Eco-friendly place is the general store which is right next to the cabins, perfect for snacks and sundries throughout the day or evening, and some nice gifts and swag as well. A return trip to Montana and Sky Eco is definitely in our future. Thank you Sky Eco!

DISAPPOINTING

Reviewed By sapo60

Spent a couple of days here and the experience was below expectations. Breakfast-no choice, it's whatever they decide to serve. No juice. Coffee dropped off without milk/cream or sugar. Room-1/4 container of liquid soap for all washing and bathing needs. No shampoo, no conditioner, no body lotion. No washcloths. Wi-fi signal so weak it was unusable. TV functions off Wi-Fi, hence, no tv. No cell reception.

Owner Response to Shower Issues Terrible!

Reviewed By PamV_13

We stayed last night. The bed was comfy and the room was cute but the known shower issues were terrible! We had read reviews about the hot water issue and thought maybe others were being fussy. We are regular people and knew that the ranch was not a 5 star hotel. We appreciate simple accommodations but even simple accommodations should have a working shower. When we checked in we were given the shower instructions. This morning we tried everything to get it to work. We were not in a position to have a maintenance person come in to get the shower to work after just spending some intimate time together. We decided to let the very nice manager know the problems we had. We were not asking for a refund but she said that if we were local the owner often gave gift certificates when problems came up but she was going to call the owner. She talked to the owner who then wanted to talk with me. Instead of apologizing, she asked me when I knew of the water issue and why I didn’t call maintenance. Terrible customer service by the owner about an issue that is known problem. The manager offered a $10 refund of the $100+ night stay. Shame on you! Your attitude towards me on the phone was unacceptable and lack of customer service appalling. My advice to others: stay away!

Delightful Stay

Reviewed By liz_collierville

Our family of five recently stayed in the Teepee Chalet at the 320. Staff was eager to help answer questions before our arrival and were helpful during our visit. The breakfasts we enjoyed during the two mornings of our visit were hearty and tasty. The dining room staff was attentive and friendly. While not all of the ranch's services and amenities were available as we stayed before June 1, we did enjoy seeing the horses graze in the pasture and we had fun walking the property. The location was perfect to access a local river float as well as a nearby trail ride stable. The chalet was comfortable for 5 adults. The kitchen was equipped enough that we managed to cook lunch and dinner while there. I would advise visitors to purchase groceries in Bozeman and bring them along. Staff recommended that and the advice was appreciated. Thank you! I would not hesitate to visit again.

Magical Visit to Mountain Sky Guest Ranch!

Every day was the best day ever! We traveled as a group (2 couples) during spring Wild West Adventures/adult only package. We started the day with 7am yoga at the most beautiful yoga studio overlooking the trees/mountains/ranch. The floors are gently heated and the ambiance is unequaled. The equipment and props are clean and plentiful. Sophia is topnotch and prepares you for the day of riding, hiking, or golf. She is precious, gives excellent cues and guidance, and reads the room like a pro. Our spouses are new/novice yogis and they loved morning yoga too. Morning rides with the experienced wranglers exceeded all expectations. Our ride to the horse pastures with Caleb was one of the most magical mornings with indescribable vistas. Don't miss the ride from the upper to lower ranch! Cowboy Jack and Wrangler Kassidy-highly recommend. And A+/5 stars to Ben who gave us great technical pointers on our last ride of the week. Shout out to Nutmeg and Melman - our horses for the week! Thanks Julie, head wrangler for providing an excellent experience and remembering our names! In the afternoons, we soaked up the vistas from the golf course. We hesitate to share because we don't want to let this secret out! Matt gave us great pointers at the driving range and we hope he will be back in 2023! We appreciate the ease of playing golf at Mountain Sky as the clubs and cart are provided and we could play at a leisurely pace since we had the back 9 to ourselves. Don't miss the view from the 15th tee box! 4:30pm restorative yoga with Silas was a welcomed reprieve and I've never felt so relaxed! The wellness/spa facility is beautiful and we love the relaxation room. Highly recommend Sophia and Abbi for massage. Don't miss the outdoor hot tub that overlooks the mountains! Mountain Sky makes this vacation hassle-free with access to laundry, bountiful food, cozy robes, walkable upper ranch, shuttles to lower ranch, variety of activities, and cash free/wallet free experience. The shuttle to and from Bozeman added to the ease of travel. The GF pastries and coffee cake were delicious! We hope next year the vegetarian/GF options are more creative for supper. Remember to pack layers, a vest, sunglasses, sunscreen, cowboy hat and boots, slippers for mornings/evenings in the cabin, swim suit, and hiking shoes. Leave your laptop at home! We enjoyed the technology disconnect. Prepare for days full of activity, relaxation, beauty, mountain air and vistas, and friendly staff! We would love to extend our visit by a day with check in on Memorial Day. We need one more day on the ranch...and especially for the guests who travel from the east coast, an additional day is welcomed! Thank you Erin, Julie, Katie, Dylan, and all the staff for an A+ experience! We look forward to returning in 2023!

Meet your new Montana family

We visited Rich's Ranch for a girlfriend getaway. The ranch was very responsive to our questions prior to our arrival and we were warmly greeted once we arrived. We were treated as part of the family and enjoyed the group dinners with the owners and staff. Our riding experience was awesome - Jim is an awesome guide. We had the option of riding twice a day, and each ride were taken into different beautiful areas. We crossed streams, climbed hills and were able to do a little cantering due to the small size of our group. The meals were hearty and plentiful and we enjoyed the friendly banter around the table. Go here if you: Enjoy being part of the ranch family, love horses, appreciate the wilderness and beautiful views. Don't go here if: You want to be served your food (its buffet style), can't put your plate in a dishwasher, expect luxury accommodations (rooms are rustic but clean and comfortable) hate hugs and can't laugh. Special thanks to Jim, Jack, Kylie, Melissa and literally everyone we met there.

Until we meet again- Thank you for a wonderful 1st leg of our trip❤
