Several tasteless dishes. Fried plantains dried out, reheated and no seasoning. Carne Asada dried out like an old cow hide. Menu shows the dish is served with fries. Not the case here at all. Pico was 99.9% chopped onion swimming in lime juice. Yuck! Men’s room was very dirty and sorely in need of maintenance. As much as we had been looking forward to this visit - that’s the extent of our disappointment. Strong point here was the Passion fruit Margarita- certainly not the food.

I found this place very welcoming. Actually, I'm told, one of several good little bars in the pleasant, unpretentious town of Rockaway. Jeff will make sure you're well taken care of.Not a large selection of draft beers, but a nice IPA, so that was no cause for concern for me. Likewise, the menu is rather limited, but the wings are very good, which may be all you need to know about choices. However, a friend did vouch for the burgers. Nice layout, with a corner area for darts.

I went to dinner with my wife last night 8/7/2019, at the Rockaway NJ store. When we had just gotten served our dinner, a staff member broke a glass next to us. Accidents happen. I can understand that. My wife and I were sprayed with glass shards as well as our table and food. I guess not realizing how much glass was spread around I had to ask the person cleaning up the glass, to please wipe down our seats and table as there was glass all over the place. I also had call our waitress over and ask for a manager, because we had glass in our food and drinks. The manager offered us a slice of cheese cake for the inconvenience. Which we said we would take to go. He offered us to remake our dinners. Which we declined. Due to not having another 30 min to wait. I asked for our check and they never took off the dinners or drinks that were covered in glass. I called the manager over again. To explain, that I only drank half of my soda and ate not even 1/4 of our dinner which now had glass in it, due to no fault of our own. He then charged us for the cheese cake and only took off the dinners from our meal. I still had to pay for Cheese cake that I was offered to make up for the inconvenience, and our drinks that had glass in it? I'm still not sure if the manager even knew how badly the glass was spread across our table and ourselves. He really didn't seem to care that much. As I had a piece of glass in my sneaker and in my shorts, which I didn't know about till I felt it sticking me a few minutes later. I paid my bill. I also tipped our waitstaff as if nothing had happened. But I will most likely never go back to any of their restaurants, due to lack of customer service. While the food and waitstaff were good. The managers customer service, or should I say lack of customer service was appalling. I paid cash. I wish I would have paid by credit card, because I would dispute that charge with my CC company.Hello. Typical old-time bar atmosphere with the regulars having a good time, however there's a charming, but definitely from the 50s, little restaurant in the back where others who know a good deal congregate. The room is brightly lit and fine for families -- as an aside, the ladies' room, albeit dated, is also well lit, clean and well stocked with soap and paper towels. There's enough on the menu to make a choice difficult, but we went with the burgers. Honestly, there's at least a half pound of meat in it, your choice of cheese, and enough fried onions (if you request it) for an army. The deluxe adds french fries, a pickle, lettuce, tomato and raw onion, and cole slaw -- for about $8.75 total. Unless you're a lumberjack, two people could split this dish. Everything else that was carried past our table to others looked and smelled equally good. The chicken sandwich and the club sandwich were huge and easily could have been shared. Our server was pleasant, efficient and seasoned. We're looking forward to going back.

Luzzi’s has been a staple in the area for the last 37 years. Both an Italian restaurant and a Seafood restaurant it excels in both.Start with a huge house salad served on chilled plates, try to pace yourself with the addictive bread & then enjoy fine steaks, lamb & veal chops, super shrimp & scallop dishes and perfect pastas. Full bar & large parking lot. Thanks so much for the nice words! One correction however, it will be 41 years this year! Hard to believe!

Great local pub, with food far above standard "pub fare". The Guinness was top shelf, as was the food, the locals at the bar, the bartender and the guy playing guitar. So glad I visited this place.
