We didnt eat here, maybe the food is perfect. But the host of restaurant has an issues with nerves and akts likes diva. First of all all stuff ignore us and gave menu for all who came after us, but not us. Ok. We were with 1 year old baby. They didnt help me to bring a heavy babychair. Hostess saw how I carry a chair and baby all together. I think she hate babies. Cause after we took a plastick flowers from table and stood it agains our baby for feeding her. Hostess camed and said to me âits not for playing she can broke itâ turned around and walk away. I said âShe would notâ (because I know my child) to her back. She turned around with shocked look (you know when teacher shoÑked of impudent pupil) and asked me to tell again what I dared to say. I repeated. Hostess ran out and started yelling near the bar. Than I decided to leave a review about this âhospitality and feel like homeâ stuff and took a photo of her (on her public working place! not at her own kitchen!) and then started âcherry-on-topâ situation: hostess and small thing waiter came to us and started to yelling at me (and my husband and my baby) why I photo her. I said that I can do it cause its public place and public work and I want everybody know about this. They started threatening us police, said âgo away we dont want guest like thisâ I asked her âwhy are you yelling at me?â - âbecause you want to leave a bad review on tripadviserâ I literally afraid that they do smth bad for us (and our baby) cause such an anger in their eyes and words you cant even imagine. So I really want everybody know about this situation!First of all, I am also a mother and it is very insulting to you to call me a hater of babies, secondly, when you came to the restaurant you immediately received a table because I personally received you, you have not even sat down at the table and you have already asked for menu and baby chair.The waiter told you nicely that the baby chair is currently occupied and as soon as she is free she will bring it to you. Then everything started to go bad, you first insulted the waiter for not bringing you to menu right away and then you went to the baby chair yourself until the guests had not even moved away from the table and dragged her across the entire terrace angrily. I immediately told the waiter to keep an eye on your table because it could be seen that you would continue to trouble and disturb other guests. There is a glass vase with flowers as decoration on the table,you gave a 12-month-old child a glass vase to play with. I immediately reacted and told you nicely that it was a glass vase and that the child could be injured, to which you reacted angrily, saying NO, (for a 12-month-old child there are adequate toys not glass vases), the easiest thing for a child to shove is anything just to give you peace. After that, you took your cellphone and tried to take pictures of me, normally my staff responded and asked why you were take a picture, and you still reply angrily. Since all the other guests at the restaurant watched it, we had to remove you from the property because you were hysterical, so that after your departure your husband would apologize to the guests and say that you were just having a bad day. Is that your child had to watch his mom hysterical. In support of you, I put pictures of a glass vase, not plastic as you say, that is, you are lying.

In contrast to a recent review that said âhorrible serviceâ we had just the opposite. We were a walk in, just strolling around to find somewhere for myself, my wife and daughter to eat. Pape is just 50m back from the main harbour road which is way too busy, and the square it is in is quiet. We were served by the chef/owners son who was very efficient, polite and spoke excellent English. We had 2 fish dishes and a pizza, all of which were well prepared, good cuisine and reasonably priced. Yes itâs not top-end dining, but the whole bill was less than one of the fish course mains at the Riva just 200m away. Iâd recommend this as good Mediterranean Bistro food with polite and attentive service and good value. Will probably go there again before we leave.

WARNING! We ate a lunch with soup and pizza ordered a big bottle of water (25 kuna) and the waiter was unpleased and when he came out with the bottle it was already opened which raised suspicions and when we took a sip it tasted like tap water so we put it aside and ordered 2 cola lights instead. Waiter never asked us why the big bottle of water was left untouched because this restaurant is definitely reusing bottles pouring tap water (CAREFUL) Not even going to discuss the dish as they are tricking customers. Croatian water might be pretty clean but people from different country would not pay 25 kuna for water if they wanted tap water, it's to avoid stomach poisoning.

We visit podgora every year and eat at Ahipara quite a lot during our vacation. The food is great and the pizza is always super, we find the menu to be quite extensive and there is a good selection of things to try. The staff are wonderful and really friendly. The service is super quick even when they are busy or have large groups of guests. The food is very reasonably priced and of excellent quality. Thank you- we will be back Thank you. There is no better place to have a coffee then here. Waiters are so friendly. They serve simple food such as sandwiches, pizzas and salad. Bistro os located on the corner. Sittings are inside and outside.

Agree with the previous reviewer completely. Arrived at 6:30 pretty quiet,found a table by the sea. Waited 10 min, no waiter to be seen. Finally he appeared and asked us to move fort a booking of 10 arriving now, 'if that is ok?' he said, twice giving no choice. There were plenty of tables at the front that were empty and could be pushed together, absolutely no need to move us. As to how they can fit 10 people around a table of four and two I don't know. Think this place is trading on it's good reputation for food and can't be bothered with customer service. Can't comment on food as we left.

Me and my wife have, during our stay in Tucepi, eaten here almost every lunch. Nice menu with a lot to choose among - we have tried sallads, pizzas and omelettes which have all been very tasty! They also have nice cocktails for only 35 kuna so we have visited them a couple of times during the evening as well. And they have very nice glasses for their Cherry Brandy, hmm! ... Highly recommended!

This is the best place to have pizza in Tucepi. Period. I've tried several places in Tucepi during the last 4 years since I've started vacationing here - and these guys are IMHO the best. They have a bread oven and they have a very, very good selection of various types of pizza. I suggest that you do not limit yourselves with usual maragita, fungi etc - do try some of the more expensive types as the are indeed phenomenal. Highly recommended.

Bokun is a clear standout from the restaurants on Tucepi beachfront all competing for business. Iâve been coming here for 5 years now in the summer and their professionalism and outstanding food and service is so welcoming and surpasses all my expectations. They offer a refreshing choice compared to other restaurants which all seem to have identical menus. Their menu choice is Croatian with a mixture of other Mediterranean choices. For travellers that donât have breakfast included with their accommodation Bokun is a clear cut winner with their English breakfast, omelettes or fresh croissants with the best cappuccino on offer all this while enjoying the Sea views while your kids happily swim in the water within view. Lunch offers of juicy burgers and Croatian street food and dinner of gorgeous fresh seafood with superb wines whilst watching the sunset over the water view. Just heaven
