Reviewed By JayBeeCAThe staff are super friendly, and the rooms are clean and well decorated. The adjoining bathrooms and showers are spotless and well stocked. This place is a diamond in the rough. I'll be back! The restaurant downstairs is also really good too.

We are a small familiar Hostel in the centre of the Villagge Langwies. Lovely nature around guarantees that you can relax and enjoy your holiday. In winter you get the choice of two skiresorts close to us. In summer we got a lot of possibilities to hike or bike.

Reviewed By jeanclaude479The plus: I found by chance this hotel and I really felt happy by their welcoming and warmth. This is definitely a nice place to stay. The breakfast is traditional with good bread and others. Close to the main restaurant 2 min on foot. The minus: I had some problem to use the wifi though.

My partner and I arrived at drei tannen after a snowy walk and were looking forward to entering the charming house in which the restaurant was in. We were hungry and were prepared to eat a full meal. Inside was anything but charming...tv blaring in a corner, anemic pop music blaring in another, boring menu, and to top it all off a very unfriendly waitress who obviously was not chosen for her charms nor was she trained to be polite. In the end we just had drinks and moved on. Customer service is still an unknown concept in much of Switzerland (ive been living here for almost 20 yrs). My recommendation: go to Austria

Breakfast was included and was absolutely delicious. One night the owner, Paula cooked for us - a most delicious meal. Casa Gialla felt like staying with a wonderful host - highly recommended.

Friendly owners and quiet nights
Reviewed By CvanSwelmWe arrived late at night after some bad weather and traffic jams. Since everyone seemed to have gone to bed we felt bad to call. But luckily the owner picked up the phone and was very friendly to us, handing us the key and we immediately fell asleep. Our room was very clean and super quiet, excellent when you need a couple of nights of good sleep. Good shower, flat-screen TV. Wifi works in the restaurant and outside on the terrace. We had dinner once, a tasty tagliatelle with salmon and an excellent entrecôte. Meat was rather expensive, but that's the way it is in Switzerland and since it's very tender, it's well worth it. The owners provide much information about the surrounding villages, like maps and tourist info. It's run by a family for twenty years now (summer 2015). Also they are happy to help out, just ask. Bürchen is a lovely quiet place. At night you can enjoy the Milky Way at clear sky. Best kept secret tourist attraction: in summer the cows are gathered at Restaurant Moosalp after a long day in the field. It may be a simple event but we found ourselves amused by the healthy and strong big ladies. And their bells make it a spectacular scene. Ask the owners for the time they gather.

Zudem besteht die Möglichkeit im gleichen Hause in einem der besten Restaurants in der ganzen Gegend zu Essen! Wer auf Wellness und sonstigen Schnick Schnack verzichten kann, ist hier goldrichtig! WLAN funktioniert im Restaurant hervorragend, im Studio/Zi leider kein Empfang.

Difícil de localizar. Familiar
Reviewed By Maxi REl pueblo no es muy grande pero nos costó encontrar la Pensión con los datos que tenía y en el pueblo no todo el mundo la conoce. Debería estar más indicado por parte de la Pensión en su publicidad. Es muy familiar y tranquilo. La habitación era de medidas correctas con una nevera y café o té. Cada día te pasaban a hacer la habitación. El baño es espacioso pero la ducha la cubriría con una mampara y no con cortinas porque así no se saldría el agua al ducharte. El desayuno incluido está bien para iniciar el día. Lo tienes preparado nada más bajar al comedor, no es tipo bufete, si no que tienes en la mesa una pequeña variedad de bollería, pan, mermeladas, embutidos, huevo duro, zumo...A la vez de la pensión también tienen un restaurante.

The price is acceptable in otherwise expensive Switzerland. Belle chambre, spacieuse avec une belle salle de bains (not in the room). Endroit très calme. Accueil chaleureux. Excellent rapport qualité/prix.
