Reviewed By ScottWootenI was greeted by Raj (Rajdeep) who is the manager. Super nice guy and very welcoming. We had a nice chat which made me feel like I wasn’t just another customer. He seems like the kind of person that will go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. The rooms are clean and nicely set out. It is a little old fashioned but that fits well by giving a friendly rural motel vibe. It’s sometimes really nice to step back from super modern and enjoy simplicity. I like that they don’t use those gross motel style doona covers as the beds are made with white sheeting. It is peaceful and quiet and has a very nice pool. Overall 5 stars for the service, price and cleanliness of the rooms. Thanks Raj and staff.

Reviewed By Tom BThe motel is located just out of town, but close enough to walk into town. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The is plenty of parking available and some rooms have lake views. We did not see any staff as they have contactless checkin.

Very good motel in Cooma with undercover parking
Reviewed By JeffP790Great location in Cooma, nice bedroom, under cover parking for cars and motorbikes which is very important in Cooma. Close to the RSL club. We will certainly be back. Staff were very friendly and the cost of the rooms was very reasonable and the rooms were heated

Absolutely filthy - old used soap bar in shower
Reviewed By Debby MUsed soap in the shower!! The shower was filthy. Unfortunately we did not check until the morning when about to shower. You will need to stand on a towel inside the shower if you are to use it. The cold tap handle came off. Restaurant is closed. Bar looks like it hasn't been cleaned since locdown started. The pool tables and lounge area look so dusty and untidy you just would not want to spend time there. New fridge but the door gets stuck on the carpet when you open it.

Reviewed By ynash2021Loved the fact that there was a toaster in the room. And the internet was a dream - loved the complimentary blue cable. It made my work-stay really easy. My hosts were lovely. The shower had plenty of hot water. What more do you need?

Wi-Fi in public areas. 1 1/2Kms from shopping centre / restaurants. Rooms can accommodation up to 6 persons. Our rates quoted are for 2 persons with additional persons incurring an extra charge. Extra persons include adults, children and infants. Cater for individuals, couples and groups. Schools (senior and primary), motor cyclists, cyclists, fishing with plenty of room for boat trailers. Dining room is open for groups. Drying room is operational during the ski season. One room with disability facilities which must be booked in advance.
Avoid even if it's the last room left in town
Reviewed By MajaxterA $999 credit note from the 2020 COVID lockdown could not secure 1 night in this hotel. The manager refused to honor the 1-night contract, insisting I pay an extra $150 for a two-night stay I did not need. To add to my frustration 2 nights were selling on 3rd party booking sites for much less than $999 which she refused to match. The manager was rude and inflexible and in the end I felt so negative about the experience I gave up. Avoid this place even if it's the last room left in town.

Disgraceful!
Reviewed By TrippyBee20One of the worst places I've stayed in, in my life. If I'd paid $50 for the room, then I'd understand the owners paranoia and the total lack of supplies. I was made to feel like a criminal before I'd even seen my room, by signing document promising not to cook food in the room. We got there late just as the owner was closing up. Inside the room there were other warnings and when I read the second one I was fuming. We had been travelling all day, just wanted dinner, a shower and go to bed. There was no microwave, no cutlery, no crockery or plates. There was no supplied water OR milk, so we couldn't even have a cup of tea. We had to go and buy milk, water, cutlery and plates so we could make and eat our sandwiches and have a cup of tea. That drama over, we wanted showers. There was NO soap, or handwash - just shaving cream in the supplied dispensers. Worst of all THERE WERE NO TOWELS! There was a small embroidered hand-towel and no towels and two of us wanting showers. There was a warning notice not to steal the towels - what towels? There was no phone nor any contact details for anyone, so I went to reception which was shut up tight. We had to go without and I was very angry about it and did not sleep very well. I was angry that we were expected to starve, not have showers - or else shower with shaving cream and dry ourselves each with the same hand-towel? I marched up to reception at 9am waited and rang the bell - but nobody came. I left a big note in the room not to charge my credit card for two towels - there were MNO TOWELS! What a ripoff, I want a refund!

A motel that needs a good face lift
Reviewed By GlobeTrotters4001New owners have taken over and have big plans for the motel but at the time of our visit the room we had was still very dated. The bathroom was very basic and unfortunately the taps and light switches had a bit of in-ground dirt. The sheets and covers were good. Not enough space to hang towels unfortunately so on a two night stay when towels aren't changed the towels can't be aired as well as they could have been.
