Noisy day at the races
Reviewed By Route1manVery clean and nice. Friendly woman at check in. The only problem is , it’s by an intersection, in the center of town. Sounds like warm up at the drag races. Truck races , car races , crotch rocket motorcycle races , and horn honking . I am used to absolute quiet. I am writing this while laying in bed , hoping these yayhoos get tired and go home. I didn’t get much sleep last night , and it seems I won’t tonight either.

The Roadrunner Lodge Motel is an award winning fabulous retro-boutique 1960s motel decked out in mid-century style located directly on historic Route 66. We won USA Today's #1 roadside motel in 2021 (thank you, former guests and fans!) and we consistently earn high praise from many of our guests. That said, we aren't for everyone. For the traveler wanting the big chain experience, we might not be the best fit. But for those on an adventurous road trip, we are just the ticket! We have a limited number of dog friendly rooms. Please contact us directly to confirm availability of a suitable room for you and your pup(s). This motel offers period accommodations with modern amenities including premium bedding, plush towels, lightning fast Wi-Fi internet, and satellite channels on HDTVs. If the weather is right, bring your favorite beverage out to either of our fire pits and share your road trip experiences with our guests from around the country and around the world. Ask for our lawn bowling set or other outdoor games or just listen to our 1960s radio station complete with music and commercials from the time. Our guest rooms were built in the 1960s and are smaller than new facilities. They do NOT have coffee makers, refrigerators, or microwaves in them. These amenities are available either in our lobby or in our shared courtesy room along with ice and a coin-operated laundry.

Reviewed By ReantuThe Roadrunner lodge truly delivers a unique experience for Tucumcari and along Route66. A sense of nostalgia in every detail and an overall wonderful experience. Even though the rooms make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time, they are fully up to date with comfortable beds, linens, and of course Wi-Fi and TV. The rooms are clean and spacious and they’ve got the best crew in town!

Reviewed By U8316EYrobertkWe stayed at El Pueblo Lodge on May 9. Their check in time is 3pm. We arrived at 1pm and asked if our room might be ready. It was ready and available but they charge an extra $25 for early check in (2 hours), even though we had not made any special request. We do not think is is right for them to fleece their guests $25 when the room was ready and available. We do not recommend El Pueblo Lodge and will not stay there again,

All Good Things Must Come to an End
Reviewed By Pam DMy husband and I have been regular guests (3-4 times per year) for around seven years. We always travel with our dog and LOVED this motel because it’s clean, allows dogs, had reasonable rates, and had a nice breakfast. We understand how prices have gone up, but prices have gone from under $100 to $170 today. Now there is NO breakfast, a broken ice machine, broken drink machine, and higher charge for a pet room. We always leave the room clean and our pet never makes a mess. It’s sad when return guests like us are not given a little credit for doing the right thing.

Reviewed By TRKelley01We rode in on our motorcycles at 8:30. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. The room was very clean. I really like the covered courtyard with the pool and hot tub (though we did not use them). I would gladly stay there again.

Bed was very firm and we slept well as the road is closed and the unit is on the end. Lots of room to spread out and a full kitchen! Appreciate the breakfast options and drinks.

The rooms are clean and the property is quiet and very nicely cared for. Very good places to eat within 5 minutes and most are within 2 minutes away, I will stay here from now on when passing near Roswell.

Great Value for a Clean & Wonderful Stay!
Reviewed By Tom GI returned again to this excellent property after a two year absence from New Mexico and I continue positively to be impressed with all that is offered for a decent value. The room I stayed several nights in was very clean, had working heat/fan/ac unit self modulated, spacious refrigerator, microwave, and SAT TV. The free breakfast is much better than the average fare for this motel level: regular or cheese omelettes are prepared to order. Parking is easy/safe and the location of this property along a major roadway is convenient for dining and shopping within a two block radius. The owners/managers Tapas & Amisha epitomize true hospitality as they (and staff) truly care about guests' comfort and satisfaction. This is the best value motel I have stayed at over many years of travel so highly recommend it.

This BW hotel in Farmington is a little gem !
Reviewed By PAUL NMy overall experience at the hotel was most enjoyable. I stay in many Best Western hotels because I like them, and this one ranks as probably one of the best I have ever stayed in! I would have no problem staying at this hotel again. Service and amenities were excellent. As a plus, this particular BW hotel is situated in the heart of E Main Street, Farmington, within easy reach of numerous excellent stores and restaurants. Totally recommend it to anyone else reading this review.
