Great place - Great staff.

We definitely like this place. Clean, great vibe, great staff. We opened for a larger king room. It is very comfortable. Keep in mind, this place is not on the lake. It is across the street. And there are great restaurants walking distance. The lobby area has a nice hang area with 5 local taps. A nice touch. There are outdoor fire pits and indoor fire places to gather near. Tess and Jenny at the front desk were so helpful and had great recommendations on where to walk/hike and where to eat. We would recommend this place.

7 Seas Inn at Tahoe

The Inn features warm hospitality by owner operators, Bill and Debbie. The 7 Seas is clean, QUIET, and comfortable with very competitive rates. We offer 4-5 star hospitality at 3 star rates. Our guests love our hospitality and value and consistently rate us in the top five hotels in South Lake Tahoe. The Inn is conveniently located 2 blocks from our private beach on Lake Tahoe with discounted guest passes, Heavenly Village (with the Heavenly Mountain Gondola), interesting Tahoe shopping and a wide selection of restaurants and bars. We are only three blocks from Tahoe's best casinos including the Hard Rock, Harrah's and Mont Blu. Hospitality, cleanliness value and location are the cornerstones of the 7 Seas Inn. The rooms have a 2 person maximum capacity (including children and infants) in order to ensure the highest level of customer service for all of our guests.

Better options within walking distance. Missing lots of basic touches.

Very average to below average compared to surrounding places at a similar price point. No major issues, just lots of little things. The heat in our room was off when we arrived so it was freezing and took a couple hours to really warm up. The door to our room had no latch and the only way to keep it closed was to lock it. There was also no inside lock on the door like every other hotel room I’ve stayed in. Parts of the room clearly hadn’t been dusted in awhile. The soap dispenser in the shower was broken. The water pressure in the shower is almost too good. The small shower means you can’t really escape the very strong pressure. The floors aren’t carpeted or have even a single rug so sound from other rooms travels very easily. Also no coffee maker in the room. The two redeeming qualities are the comfortable bed and the location. Overall this place doesn’t deserve the rave reviews seen on Google or Booking.com. It’s missing lots of basic hospitality touches and is average at best.

Decent budget motel ski weekend stay

Reviewed By ltsao01

Prices have gone up a lot during the pandemic. We wanted to find a decent place to say for an affordable price. Bluejay was just want we were looking for. Easy check in, at a central location in walking distance to the Gondola and restaurants. The room was a decent size with laminate wood floors and all the amenities we wanted; coffee maker (we brought filters and our own coffee to brew), microwave, and mini fridge with freezer (perfect for ice cream and our ice packs). The TV was a decent size and had a couple premium channels. Wifi worked well. There was a small table and 2 stools to eat at. The bed was decent (slightly on the firm side but still comfortable). The pillows were as expected on the soft/less supportive side. The blankets were very thin but you can turn up the heat of needed. The shower pressure was on the weaker side and then I realized the lower faucet head was loose and getting pushed out from the wall. Tried to tell them on check out but no one was at the window in the morning. The lighting was on the darker side but not a big deal if you’re not spending much time in the room. Pros: location, room size, fridge, bed comfort Cons: shower pressure, small wobbly table to eat on
