Below Average Room and Service

Reviewed By getbacku

This hotel was a below average hotel to stay in. We were put in a hearing impaired room. Neither one of us has a hearing problem and I did not request for this type of room. The bedding was not impressive. It did not look anything like the pictures on their website. The telephone in the room did not work and the clock would not function properly. I could not set it. It just blink. They serviced a very basic breakfast. The front desk personnel did not tell me that the room will not be service (bed will be made and replacement of towels). We were staying for two nights. This hotel does not have lounge area. We were given an unfair room.

Outstanding Place

I personally do not approve of outdoor properties because I have often felt that they were unsafe, but this place changed my feelings... a place of comfort in every sense of the word. The GM and the manager, the entire staff were such a comfort; the room was comfortable with a nice breakfast and a wonderful atmosphere, conveniently located in walking distance from hospitals, foods and then some. Thanks to everyone who may my stay worthwhile!

Hospitality, compassion, and customer service is at an all-time low at this place!

All these people care about is the money you give them and the imaginary money they're so paranoid about losing! I was 5 days out of a major cranio-facial operation in which my face and smile could not animate and I had visible major bruising and swelling. Prior to my booking, I had sent this hotel a note via their online booking form and clearly stated I was a recovering patient and needed a low floor. I had argued with the 30-something year old Indian female at the front desk for at least 15 minutes because she was certain I did not resemble my picture on my ID. OF COURSE I DON'T! I just had major facial surgery 5 days prior! But all my other info matched! Height, weight, name, credit card on file, email address, even exact time of check in, as they requested prior to my arrival. All this particular female could say was, "we just need to make SURE it's you so nothing goes on." What exactly does that mean??? Wgat will “go on?” Furthermore, what MORE information do you need?? Want my doctor to call you? My family? My lawyer, perhaps, because this could very well be a hefty suit! Despite my written request for a 1st floor room, I was still put on the second floor and there were no elevators in sight. Nobody offered to help me lug my baggage up the stairs, so I had to go against doctors orders and lift over 10 lbs myself UP the stairs. Good for my lawyer to know, as well. Although she barely spoke or understood fluent English, the front desk lady was grilling me on what my procedure was for. Not any of her business and completely unprofessional! Very unfriendly, but you will get a *smile* when your credit card clears for payment. To make matters worse, the door to my room was wide open upon my entry and I had to grab my mace because I feared someone was hiding in the room. The room smelled like moth balls, curry, and smoke, even though I clearly requested a non smoking room. The rooms look old, dingy, and easy to break into from outside. But I guess you get what you pay for! 1 star for the rooms actually having a mini fridge and microwave. Not for one thing else! I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you want to be treated as a second or even third class citizen in your own homeland. Can't believe these people are allowed to run an establishment in "hospitality" when they're the furthest thing from hospitable as I've experienced in my 10 years of hotel lodging.

Not Worth 75$

The noise was ridiculous and the room walls were disgusting I could barley eat. These rooms are very much worth 40$ not 75$. The sheets also had cigarette holes in them. I feel like there should be a soda machine there also we had to travel to the store early in the morning. The customer service was great ?

Masters regret

Reviewed By Service4Life

This was the only hotel available for Masters weekend that wasn't $400 a night. The room ius what you would expect of a $40 dollar a night motel. The bathroom was small with a stained tub and cigarette burns on the side as though someone was using the toilet and set a cigarette down. The towels were clean but not very absorbent. As other reviewers have said breakfast was at best marginal. On Sunday they hadn't even put out plastic wear I had to start digging around until the hotel clerk came out and found some to put out. Breakfast choices were cold cereal, hard-boiled eggs, toast, yogurt, and waffles. coffee was available but creamers were those small powder packets. Fortunately this trip was just me and my grown son so we tolerated the conditions but for over $200 a night I felt like I had been ripped off.
