Great location and ambiance. Friendly wait staff and no wait after making reservation. Plenty of parking for Saturday and you do get a great amount of food.However, there is plenty room for improvement. We had a party of 5 and all tried different dishes. Come to find out, they were "sold out" of an entree. This shouldn't happen as it's the weekend and the kitchen should be able to cook any entree on the menu. Also, salsas and guacamole had excessive onions in them which takes away from the flavor and taste. Tortillas were great but once again borracho beans had excessive onions in them. Ribs had no flavor. Lacked seasoning and overcooked. Beef fajita nachos were fine. However don't anticipate your norm Mexican refried beans here. Grilled shrimp and chicken fajitas were fine. Nothing spectacular.We then ordered different cocktails from the bar and once again we were told "we don't have that signature cocktail"...Again, bar should of had all ingredients to make a signature cocktail. Especially on a Saturday. I then ordered a shot of 1800 tequila, again told "we don't have any. This was not a good impression of this restaurant for our first time.Overall this restaurant is ok. Not worth the trip from SA for what we paid. Expected a lot more since it's sister company The Reel used to be a great place to go. This is a good place for locals and a quick bite.

This establishment looked promising but it quickly deteriorated. We were greeted rudely/ignored...young kids working the front. Not a good idea. They have not been trained. We waited outside at the bar and got frozen margaritas... they were horrible. We saw some of the food and decided to leave.

We stopped for dinner at Casa Garcias and were greeted by the sound of a lone guitarist singing songs and a full house. Our server was pleasant and the service was good. They kept our salsa bowl full and the tortilla chips kept re-appearing!The food itself I found to be good but not great - the salsa was thin and the enchiladas were small, but everything was tasty. Overall the food and atmosphere made this a very good experience!

I had lunch there with clients while I was in town, and came away surprised by how good the food was despite the place's simple appearances. Everything had a wonderful flavor and was very affordable. The atmosphere was a bit loud at lunchtime, but we could still have a conversation.

This place has good authentic Mexican food! IT was not crowded, about 7:30 on a Tuesday night, mostly locals. We ordered and waited a long time, everone else was waiting also Finally we all got served, it was like the cook was on break.... The food we got was very good, but not really what we ordered, beef and chicken reversed, the number of things was right, but not the actual entrees. After that everyone that came in got served quickly. They have a great margarita special, the bill for two of us with drinks was about $20, this place has good, inexpensive Mexican food, service for us was lacking, but if we are in NB again, we will give them another try.

Excellent service from the moment we walked in. Our waitress was very sweet! Their menu has such a variety of plates. We ordered the shrimp cocktail appetizer and it was delicious! We all ordered something differentl; quail dish, fried avocado plate, Tejano plate and fish tacos. Neither left a morsel on their plate. The food was well prepared and all of us were satisfied!

We traveled to New Braunfels overnight and looked online for a recommended breakfast place. Los Gallos Taco House came up where we stayed, so we gave t a try. Wow! Parking lot was full; drive-thru line to street, so we parked in the church parking lot. Got inside, and lined seating, so we knew we'd made a great choice come hear. We were created, and decided to order Super tacos. You get 4 items in the taco; egg, bacon, bean, potato, cheese, chorizo, or sausage. We had NO idea this SUPER Taco was SUPER-SIZED, flowing over the plate on a tortilla! Needless to say, when my husband ordered 2, the waiter politely said "2?!!" Now we know! 1 SUPER Taco can feed 2-3 easily. It was Great! Just way too much food.

We liked the look of the restaurant with it's very cool lighting and open air porch. When we saw that they had the best Margarita's in town we were sold! We waited to be seated approx. 30 minutes which was expected without reservations. Once seated we ordered and ate chips while we waited, and waited, and waited. The Margarita's weren't all that special just ok. Chips and salsa were so VERY salty! Strike one. The wait for our food....Strike two. Total time from sitting down and ordering till we got our food 1 hour! I guess they expect people to be enamored with the atmosphere and alcoholic drinks to be worried about food. The food itself was subpar. I've had better at a fast food restaurant. And that's strike three! Never again...and we visit the area often. Sorry but really, just go elsewhere.Thanks for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience at our restaurant. We strive to offer tasty TexMex alongside friendly attentive service and we fell short. We sincerely apologize you didn't enjoy your food and experience. Had a recommendation and was absolutely thrilled with the experience. Food came out quick but the flavor said fresh not nuked. Prices were very reasonable and the service was exceptional. Will make this a stop whenever we come back.Hey Bob thank you for giving us a try....we are really fast with our service when we are busy and especially at lunch time. We're sort of known for fast service. We use a conveyor oven that runs at 480 degrees and if you order enchilada plates we roll those to order and then we let the oven do the rest of the work for us. 55 seconds were sending out some very hot food. We look forward to serving you the next time you are back this way. Thanks again....
