Fatherâs Day lunch outstanding food in my favourite Greek place on the Gold Coast Lunch was set menu for Fatherâs Day great choices of seafood meat combinations and vegetarian options.We all had garlic mushrooms crowd pleaser in a fantastic creamy sauce with complimentary bread.Mains were great mixture of lamb souvlakia Greek salad and chicken skewers the chefs special chilli creamy chicken and veggies was excellent.We had great wine choices to compliment our meal and excellent customer experience service from the young floor staff.The owner chef was his usual knowledgeable good humorous self and very helpful he fully explained the dishes that we choose from the set menu.The views overlooking the emerald lakes and Surfers back drop is excellent and relaxing ambience for everyone to enjoy on a beautiful spring afternoon bathed in sunshine Gold Coast day.Have been a regular customer for years and to be honest have enjoyed every special celebration here at my favourite Greek foodie delight and fully intend to return.

My daughter and I had lunch here recently and we were really impressed. She had chicken fettuccine and I had chicken risotto and both were exceptional. The staff were lovely and because it was the half price lunch menu, we only paid $12.50 each. Taboon consistently delivers lovely food. We take out more often than eat in but it also has a nice atmosphere for a casual meal. The Bedouin Salad is a firm favourite!Thanks for your review. Our second visit did not disappoint. The service was great. The food really really good with lots of choice. The serving sizes too big but surely not a complaint for most people. All the staff were attentive and friendly and professional. The handmade cocktails fabulous.Iâm thrilled you had another great experience at Balboa Italian. We love this Italian restaurant, simply incomparable. We make a point coming every year ( 4 adults, and 5 kids) during our annual holiday, and are consistently impressed with the great service and amazing food. Staying at the GC because my passport had expired and could not get on plane to Bali anyways delightful holiday still. Uber driver suggested this place and it did not disappoint. On arrival lovely waitress bought us cold water and then ordered a bottle of red. Entree of shared salad and focaccia then after a nice time between a meal the mains. One was fettuccine carbonara and the other was tomato gnocchi. Both were absolutely delicious. Really nice place for dinner. Great wine list great service. Would highly recommend

Went to celebrate my birthday. We had a friendly greeting from Karin, our hostess. Started with Onion Rings and marinated Olves. Best Onion rings ever. Very tasty olives.Then we had the Stuffed Zuccini Flowers, Fish Hot Pot, Whiting Fillets & Pork Belly. Everything was sensational. We each had a cocktail but unfortunately they were all far too sweet. The Pinot Grigio was excellent. To finish I got a surprise birthday desert of Chocolate mud cake and creme brulee. A true dining experience that starts with a warm welcome by brothers Patrick and Pascal followed by beautifully flavoured cooked and presented food. The atmosphere is intimate and contemporary and the theatre of watching meals prepared by the chef (whoâs a delight) adds to a special experience. I highly recommend the Lebanese Lady cocktail (delicious) and the amazing Turkish coffee to finish. So impressed. Rabbath is now a firm favourite.
