The location is perfect to reach the attractions by feet. The breakfast and the dinner where very delicious and huge. We had also a cooking class and it was fantastic! Reviewed By Tony FWe choose this guest house because of all the very positive reviews and we weren't disappointed. The lady of the house, Muthu, was very welcoming and made us a pot of tea and biscuits. Later that evening she prepared a meal that was as good as any we'd had in Sri Lanka - I would say probably the best. In the morning before catching the tuk tuk they'd arranged to take us th Hortons Plain she made a pot of tea and biscuits. The breakfast that we were given on our return fro the Plains was fantastic - my wife had asked for a Sri Lankan breakfast while I had asked for some Sri Lankan bread and jam. Our choices were complimented by sweet pancakes and yogurts. I can't stress our appreciation at the care and quality given by Muthu - I can only recommend it to future visitors th Hortons Plain. Ohiya is the nearest railway station to The Plains And Forest Cyniciam will not disappoint. Thank you.

Reviewed By A203JAsimonmWe stayed 2 nights at Nimal Nest Inn. The room was super clean. Nimal himself is a great person and he helped us a lot with our plans. He called for the train, gave us hints for restaurants, explained us where to go for a hike. He is super kind and the breakfast was super delicious! If we will have another stay in Ella once again, we sure will stay again at his Nimal Nest Inn!

Reviewed By mtz123I stayed in Ella for 3 days. I selected the homestay because i wanted to be in hill side. Excellent view in terrace. We had also nice cooking class. I rent motorbike which is less price in the Ella town. Hot water was always ready. It was really homestay experience for me. View has Ella and little adems peak rock clearly. The time i stay was a low season. So i was the only guest. I try to take other terrace rooms to show. Garden in front of has coffee mango black paper trees. And some herbals they have in the garden. The town you can access with tuktuk 5 mins. Which is the only badside. But anyway tuktuk is always available and it cost me 500-600 the day i stayed.

This is PARADISE !!! This homestay has it s proper waterfalls, Eadies fantastic to chill out on a rock in the middle of the river. The rooms are extra clean and the beds are just king size … Top top top !!!!!! Thanks again for everything to Champi and her family !!!!

Value for money and Peaceful Surroundings
Reviewed By perera2017I got to stay in the new chalets for a change , yesterday ! Super :-) Always love the peace and quiet there...food never dissapoints me and the family... Only minus is the last 100m to the hotel...its fine if you go in a nornal suv or van or car..but if going in a low sports car could be an issue. bordering yala..so if lucky enough can see elephants by the electric fence. Lovely staff too ! The new cahlets are spotless. The old ones are well maintained (water pressure can be low in the shower)
