Very friendly staff, great location and value for money

We just stayed at the Hotel Kareem in Luxor for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel on the Westbank is great - close to small shops with a great bakery, walking distance to the ferry that takes you to Luxor. The rooms are big, clean and nicely equipped - a place to feel welcome. The best thing however is the food and the very friendly staff. We had all meals included and the food is very delicious, cooked with loving care and excellence. Shaban and his staff made us feel welcome and well taken care off. He arranged for our transportation to and from the airport as well as our trip to the bazaar and the monuments. Great value for the money and a very pleasant place to stay

Nubian Holiday House Aswan

With seven spacious rooms and a roof terrace overlooking the beautiful river Nile, we have converted our old family home into a beautiful guesthouse. Our family guesthouse is located in the heart of our Nubian Village on the West Bank of Aswan. In contrast to the busy and loud East Bank, the West Bank is quiet and green where the Nubian people live in their colour villages and where the desert meets the Nile. A short walk, only 500 meter, will take you to the ferry (2 EGP) that will take you to the heart of Aswan in about 10 minutes. Aswan train station is a 300 meter walk from the ferry that will take you to the West Bank. Our main aim is to let you experience Nubian hospitality and to make sure your stay is both enjoyable and relaxing. If requested we would love to show you our beloved Nubian villages and city of Aswan in any way you would require. We are happy to arrange you a private tour, both on land and on the Nile, through our network of local guides and drivers.

Ekadoli in Nubian language means (I love you)

Reviewed By shoumanshy

Aswan overall welcomes all the visitors from all over the world. That is the generosity of the Nubian people. and Ekadoli means (I love you) in the Nubian language. I visited Aswan and stayed with my friends in Ekadoli guest house in February 2019. I can say that this guest house is great and the staff professional and kind. From the rooftop, you can watch the Nile river. The rooms are modest and clean. Breakfast is amazing and tasty. Authentic oriental Egyptian breakfast. Rooms don't have a view to the Nile river as far as I know. But all the view you can get from the rooftop. To sum up. The guest house is good and you will enjoy your stay there.

The majesty of Isis

Reviewed By Sphinxlady777

The majesty of Isis sweeps you away as you’re sitting and having your dinner at this beautiful little lodge . You are on an island directly across from the great and holy temple of the goddess Isis. The staff are absolutely amazing; attentive, polite, and warm. You feel safe there on your own private little island where you can go swimming or just be lost in your thoughts. It is a paradise unlike any other hotel I have ever stayed in. First of all, the food is out of this world, all fresh and made by a chef who really knows how to please. From the early morning when the pink light washes over the Temple until late at night when it shines like a jewel, you are mesmerized by its mystery and beauty. I never wanted to leave even to visit the mainland. I could easily have spent the rest of my life there, writing novels about those ancient times. Sometimes at night when they had the sound and light show, the temple seems to come back to life. One could easily imagine white robed priestesses singing and dancing to the beautiful images in the temple. I enjoyed taking many bags of cat food that I had brought as gifts for the cats that live on that island and are precious to Isis. All of the people there take care of them and love each and every one of them. Being a Cat Lover, it was wonderful to take the boat over, right across from where we stayed to visit them every day. I plan to go back as many times as I can. It is a place of peace and joy which you never get from staying on the mainland. It is one of my most favorite hotels in all of the world that I have visited. And having flown for five different airlines in my life I have stayed in thousands of hotels. And yet, this one has stolen my heart.
