The grandmother also helped in sharing somes plates, forks and knifes for the take away dinner service. You will need to speak a little German, if you want to stay in this hotel at this time, because take away service is only in German for the order. I place to return in case of further supplier visits.

Nice hotel in a nice place
Reviewed By 939avirThe hotel located very close to city hall and the city center, so the location is perfect , the (free) parking is near by, and the best restaurant in Melk is in its base floor. The room is nice, well isolate from the street noise. The One and only drawback is the WiFi that couldn’t be accessed from the room.

Reviewed By Michael SThis place is situated approx. 1100 m above sea level right in the midst of woods and ideally used as a base camp for walking, mushroom collecting etc. The Chef tries to have season-connected menu specialities like venison in autumn or mushrooms in late summer. Inside its cosy but modern, the staff friendly and the prices moderate. I recommend it if you you want to experience a style of cooking somehow apart from Austrian focal points but till have a certain standard.

Reviewed By layneleeannA dream location on a hilltop at a family farm where they source many of their products regionally. Fantastic breakfast, perfectly clean apartments with lovely mountain views. Thoughtful, warm service from the owners - we arrived without a reservation, and they did everything they could to accommodate us, as well as offering wonderful sightseeing tips. This is a family hotel in the truest sense, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. A highlight of our trip.

Reviewed By codrutm2018We stayed here only for two nights but the hotel is very clean with free parking places and free WiFi connection, placed near the Artstetten castle. The room was clean, spacious and we got a crib for our baby, too. The staff was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast, and the other meals we had there. For sure I recommend this hotel!

Reviewed By Christian STolle „Baumhäuser“ mit Stil! Wir waren von der Location und dem Design sehr beeindruckt. Es wurde sehr viel Wert auf die Qualität gelegt. Es gibt nichts was ich hier bemängeln konnte! Die Zufahrt zu den Baumhäusern war nicht beschildert was aber wiederum viele Schaulustige fernhält! Hier kann man sich gut erholen und romantische Tage verbringen. Das Moorbad Schrems, die Himmelsstiege und die Unterwasserwelt sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Dieser Aufenthalt wird uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben!

Our village, Schwarzenbach an der Pielach, is ideally situated to explore the hidden wonders of Lower Austria either by bike, foot, ski, motorbike or car.

Our hosts Tez and Nic were wonderfully accommodating of our desire to stay over Christmas and even cooked us a 5* Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. If you are looking to go skiing, sledging, hiking, rock climbing or simply for a stroll around Lower Austria, this beautiful B&B is an excellent base. The owners of this establishment are extremely knowledgeable and pointed us in the right direction for all the activities we wanted to do, often coming along with us to show us what to do (the Austrian way) and also finding us places to eat. The food both at the b&b and locally is both delicious and also very filling. The rooms are all spacious, comfortable beds and in the main en-suite. When at the b&b, Tez and Nic are fluent in English and German and will gladly help with any translation. This said, for the main the locals do not speak much English, however they do make up for it in great hospitality. It is advised that for going around the area, google translate or a working knowledge of German are an ideal companion.

Reviewed By Voyager818323We had one of the best trip in Austria. Mostlandhof is very quiet, with wonderful nature and very nice host. Around you can visit Wachau, Oetscher, Lutz an der See or Mariazell. We love this place and look forward to come back soon! Cristina and Andrei from Moldova.
