We ordered three pasta entrees and all three were mediocre. Best thing about Salâs was the imitation butter spread. Even our bread was bad. Salad was wilted and semi-rotted. Prices for this type of food and establishment was too high. Staff was friendly though.

My husband and I ordered "light cheese", and we explained we like to taste the other ingredients. When our pizza came, I thought it was someone else's because the cheese was so thick that we could not even see the sauce!The server seemed preoccupied with her phone...so annoying!I would NEVER recommend this place.

We ate at Old Town Pizza and Pasta Sunday evening when first arriving in Williamsburg. It was close to our hotel. Two people in our group had chicken Parmesan subs. They were happy with their sandwiches. The others in the group had individual pizzas. The pizzas were not very good. The crust was crisp, but had little flavor. The one pizza had very little sausage. The second pizza was not what was ordered at all. In fact, it was not even close. They had to remake it. Because of this others in the group has to wait longer than they should have. Looking at other reviews, it would seem others have had a better experience. My husband and I visited for a late lunch following a day of sight seeing. We were immediately seated and provided drinks. Garlic bread soon appeared and not long after ordering, our food arrived, fresh & hot. The chicken Marsala was delicious and the dish was plentiful with mushrooms. Fettuccine Alfredo was also very good. The meal was both delicious and reasonably priced.

This Italian restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel & we had a coupon from the Williamsburg Visitors Guide for 2 chicken dinners for $30.99. Waitress was very attentive & kind. We had the Chicken Tortellini & Chicken Amalfi. Salads & dinners were generous portions. Unique hot bread/rolls really impressed us. Sure enjoyed our early evening dinner at Salâs!

Amazing pizza NY style. Being from the upper east coast we have high standards for Italian food and this place far exceeded them. Chicken parm fettuccine Alfredo steak and shrimp we returned again the following night awesome truly and a family of five. 3 adults 2 young adults 70 bucks approx. and the garlic knots are out of this works. Best Italian in the planet

The food is rated 4+ stars. I gave the restaurant overall 3 stars because of lack of accuracy and attention to detail. I called in a takeout order. When I picked it up, the charge was what I expected, but one element of dinner was missing. While I was waiting for that to be prepared, another customer came in for his takeout order and it was wrong, too. So definitely check your order. Also, the cashier's (fake) fingernails were so long it was impacting her ability to use the POS machine which appeared unprofessional. I was left with an overall perception of an unprofessional, unorganized place. Fortunately, the food was delicious with generous portions.

My wife ordered manicotti and there wasnât much taste to it. Previously here I ordered chicken parmigiana and it was pretty good. This time I was red hot, as if they left it under a heat lamp. I couldnât even eat it. What I could eat was bland too. We will try other places.Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you didnât have a good time at our restaurant this time. We didnât change anything about our recipes and I assure you that we donât have a heat lamp as everything is cooked to order . The reason your food came out hot is because it was fresh straight from the oven .We are not sure why everything seemed bland to you that day , even the dishes that you enjoyed before . This place is amazing, so worth the wait. The staff is polite and accommodating. Our server, Alex, was absolutely the best! He had perfect timing and great suggestions. The food was awesome, so yummy. We had a great time, and would recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.

Another annual visit to one of our favorites...we actually ate there three of four nights this trip. Owners Joe and wife Katie provide a friendly, family owned dining experience with the best in Italian cuisine. Amy, Kerry and Kristen were our bartender/servers...all doing a fantastic One of the big draws is the Lentil Soup!! The fried oysters were outstanding as were the mussels and red beet salad. Meatballs over linguine was a winner! Will be back next year!!
