Nothing fancy or surprising, not sophisticated, really average. German portion so be careful - I would have preferred a half portion with more refined ingredients and hand-made flair but as a neighbourhood Italian they can't be really tailourling the restaurant to please the Messe exhibotors who come only once a year, I guess. Red Italian glass wine was very cold, surely kept in the fridge. Ask specifically for room temperature or just take a good (German) beer. A reasonable place if you are too tired to explore more central (and competitive) part of the city.

It was my first trip to Hildesheim and I found that restaurant looking at Tripadvisor advice.That Italian restaurant was just perfect in taste and price.My business partners shared that comment, we were 2 to have a great dinner

Nach dem Besitzerwechsel: ein ganz heiÃer Tip. Die Atmosphäre im Lokal ist unverändert gut. Das Personal freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit.Die Gerichte aller Beteiligten von hoher Qualität und ausgesprochen schmackhaft. Hier wird noch handwerklich hervorragend gekocht. Allein die Präsentation der einzelnen Gänge, inclusive des Gruà aus der Küche sendet Wohlbefinden vom Auge an Gaumen und Magen.Die Preise liegen berechtigt etwas über der Systemgastronomie und rechtfertigen den GenuÃ.

Have visited this restaurantl now for 4 years in a row each January and time after time, nice atmosphere, good food, you feel welcome and always busy. Strongly advice to book table at least one week ahead, especially for weekend. Food is fine and good, more than enough, enough options too choose. You feel welcome here and of course when asking for bill your are offered from the house a farewell drink. Prices are very fair and not expensive for what is served !Will be back next year, for sure !

Das Café Baristini ist nicht unbedingt eine Weltreise wert, doch wenn man mal in der Gegend ist, sollte man unbedingt reinschauen - als Laatzener gern auch regelmäÃig. Das Eis ist superlecker und das beste im Radius bis zur Hannoverschen Innenstadt. Insbesondere die Sorte Dunkle Schokolade ist zu empfehlen. Die Milchshakes sind vorzüglich, die Paninis genieÃbar. Das Frühstück konnten wir noch nicht probieren - dafür macht das Café an Sonn- und Feiertagen zu spät auf. Die Inneneinrichtung ist harmonisch, Service sehr freundlich. Uns gefällt am besten die groÃe Kinderecke mit dem Spielzeug und den vielen Büchern. Klasse für Familien. Wir waren schon oft dort und kommen sicher auch häufig wieder.

In Hannover for business, a colleague brought me here for dinner, close to the Expo fairgrounds. It's small and pretty popular, several tables for eating in and also a busy take-out business. I had wonderful cheese cannelloni with bolognese sauce, followed by a lovely panna cotta. My colleague had a steak of some kind which was so tender he hardly needed his knife. The owner and servers are very friendly!

A return visit for another excellent meal. Good food and very friendly staff. Staff take the time to help you with your choice and recommend meals based on your tastes. The menu can be adjusted for your likes and dislikes. Excellent service.

Small and cozy restaurant catering for couples and or larger groups. We ate simply (15 people mainly pizza and some pasta). Drinks and food were ordered and the drinks came swiftly. A short wait and we all received our food and a second round of drinks in a timely manner. All in all a good atmosphere with nice typical Italian food.

After taking a wrong tram connection I found myself in Sarstedt and very hungry. I looked in TA and as there was no obvious local winner, I tried this restaurant just across the road from the end of the line tram stop. I ordered the lunch menu for a very modest Euro 7.90 which consisted of a starter (choice of soup, salad or antipasti) plus a choice of about 8 main courses which included at least one meat dish, one fish fish dish and several homemade pasta dishes. I opted for antipasti plus meat lasagne. There was a good selection of antipasti and appeared plus tasted fresh whilst lacking any Wow factor on the taste buds. The lasagne was the same story mainly just a bit bland and unexciting with the pasta a bit overcooked and a touch too greasy for my taste. All in all if I found myself in that town and hungry again I would go back as the restaurant is pleasant enough with quite a charming waitress which unfortunately (paying with my credit card and thoughts elsewhere) I forgot to tip!
