It's an eclectic place with timber bench seats and a few tables and chairs. We ordered 4 pizzas and they certainly were filling. The music was Motown and the oven generated enough heat to warm the place. We ordered the Pork Special, the Swiss Brown Mushroom and Goat Cheese, the Calamari Smoked Salmon and Mussels and the San Daniele Special. The pizzas were flavour filled and i even enjoyed the vegetarian one as we shared our way through the 4 generous pizzas. The only downside was that there were 4 of us sharing and only 3 mussels.

I saw somebody review this pizza restaurant on FB.... I thought I would try it out! AND BAMMMMM Im in love... I have ordered about 6 times in 4 weeks. The pizza is amazing... the ingredients are so fresh, I love the thin base....and the quality is amazing. I must admit its my husband that is a pizza fan but honestly I am converted now!! Im the one that recommends buying it!! I have loved every pizza I have ordered.. we get Uber to deliver..Thank you so much for your appreciation! Thanks for the awesome review Charli.

Italian food doesnât get much better then this. Came here on a Google Local Guide recommendation and wasnât disappointed. Located at the south end of Tunstall square with plenty of parking out the front this place was busy at 6.15pm on a Saturday night and stayed that way during my stay. The lovely waiter told me the specials and took the order a few months later - the special of the day was I order which was ravioli with a deliciously tasty sauce. Cheese and garlic bread was also ordered. Fabulous menu with a variety of choices for everyone of every age. Food came out quickly. Service was great. The table next to me had three seatings in the time I was there. This place is wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Take away available.

After moving into the area my partner and I tried out a pizza from here. Though the toppings were minimal the flavours were really great. I imagine this is a more closer to traditional Italian pizza and I'm just used to the American style ones.

This is a very popular local pizza/pasta spot which is not surprising given the high standard of food they produce - and the effort they put into producing it. The restaurant itself is nothing special to look at - in fact one could be excused for thinking it's just another typical pizza joint. But this is where the similarity between L'Anima and typical pizza shops end. The ingredients are absolutely fresh - and of high quality! This applies to all their meals - not just pizza. The Pizzas are lovingly prepared, not smothered in cheap supermarket ham and cheese. And... they are cooked in a wood fired kiln - as they should be. The result? A beautiful crispy crusted pizza delicately coated in flavours you can individually taste. Their prices aren't typical either but who cares, when the product is this good.Thank you for your observant and complimentary review. You are correct, we only use the best quality ingredients. The meat and vegetables are cooked and sliced daily by us and lovingly cooked by us on site and we believe this attention to detail make all the difference as you have observed.

We've been ordering the 2 pizzas garlic bread and drink for well over 20 years - always includes at least 1 capricciosa ( always generous topping, especially the ham and optional anchovy -yes!). Despite change of management/ownership? and slight variation, basically it never disappoints. In that time it's only approximately doubled in price - where else can you get such good value?Keep up the good work Nero's!

Enjoyed our meal was lovely, when seated we were given menus and before we could order a drink our waiter walked away. It was 15minutes before someone came back to take a drink order. The food came out fast and was lovely. Again the waiter didnât seem to want to be working, the service with a smile. The smile wasnât there, it was a very quiet night so Iâm not sure what was wrong. The dining room was nice but needed some background music all we could hear was the banging of cutlery and plates in the kitchen. Overall though because the food was nice and well priced I would come back and happy to recommend.
