Decided to visit this restaurant again after being there several months ago when the new owners took over from Juan. What a pleasant surprise, the menu is now so much better and the menu del dia for 12.50 is excellent.There is also really good choice on the main menu now.

A real âcanât go wrong !!â restaurant for anytime of the day or night. Located on one of the main thoroughfares in Albir, itâs actually on the no. 10 bus route through the town.A lovely well crafted setting in which to enjoy a meal both inside and out. Spotlessly clean throughout especially the toilets â if the toilets are clean then you never have any worries about elsewhere.Menu del dÃa offers both excellent value for money AND outstanding food. The waiter normally has to tell you what it is as they donât seem to have it featured on any menus but he can speak English. Itâs circa 15 euros for 4 courses plus a drink and all, for me at least, of top quality.The service throughout was friendly, informed and efficient from smart waiting staff who were always ready to assist.This is a rare venue in that itâs suitable for either a snack, menu del dÃa or other meal OR special occasion â itâs that good ! We have visited several times and will continue to do so. You just canât go wrong here with such quality offerings in terms of both food and drinks at altogether eminently reasonable prices.

Very pleased with the quality of the food, the service the cleanliness plus a good atmosphere and at the price of between â¬10 and â¬20 depending on your main you get a olives, bread and aioli, a small fresh salad, lovely home made soup, your chosen main and a choice of dessert like flan, cheese cake, apple/cherry pie and a drink included.Fab all round.Mains we had were goulash, pork ribs and chicken.

Cozy restaurant near the beach with a caribbean accent,our specialty are the jerk spareribs but we also serve a nice steak,slowly cooked lambshoulder and much more. Also several dishes for people who have a gluten diet, we also speak english and dutch.

La Roca was the first restaurant I ate at when visiting L'Albir the first time earlier this month, primarily due to the reviews. I came during shoulder season, and the place looked abandoned for a late lunch. However, this turned into one of the best meals I had while I was in L'Albir, as the food was amazing (jerk chicken was off the charts!). On the weekends, there's a prix-fixe late lunch, which ended up being exactly what I needed after an early flight and a long trip from Alicante airport.thank you very much for yourreview,indeed our restaurant sometimes has no customers but somebody has to be the first to enter...however 80 % of our customers are regular customers who can not stay away once theyexperienced la roca restaurant with a lovely service and outstanding dishes.whe hope to see you back soon

I frequent the Universal often either for coffee or a snack lunch. The staff are friendly and efficient especially Joanna. Never in 15 years of going there have I had to complain about the food. It's good. I enjoy going to the Universal where I can have, coffee or lunch in a quiet environment and read the English newspaper which is provided. If I have a complaint it's the continual interruptions by the 'looky looky'' men selling cheap sunglasses, handbags, watches, trainers, blankets etc. This is not unique to the Universal. They are everywhere in Albir.Thanks George !!!! and yes it is a shame to have them again and again.. i know.. All the complains i made to the mayor has only a laugh as reaction...

We having been visiting Albir for many years,a couple of times a year. We always eat here, its faultless. My last review was in 2017 & its that good i feel it deserves another review !! The food, service, professionalism & quality is amazing ! Its family run & they work very hard. This restaurant is THE BEST in Albir with very reasonable prices. We recommend to our friends/family. Once youve been, you will be back !

I invited some friends over and took them out to Noa's. Even though the weather got rainy and windy we enjoyed our evening.As always we had booked a table but arrived a bit early and thus decided to have a drink before our meal. Afterwards we sat down and enjoyed a nicely grilled fillet steak for me, and tuna tataki, tapas, and spaghetti "noa" for my friends. We ended up so full that we moved to the sofas to have some more drinks and desserts.All in all, perfect once again. The staff attentive as always and ready to help, and the cook never disappoints. He even came out to greet us personally.Thanks for everything!Muchas gracias Christian por confiar en nosotros, y nos alegraos de que tu visita fuera de tu agrado.
