Reviewed By Rosario_itThe location of the hotel is very good as it is not far from the train station (I arrived and left on train) and it is in the centre of the city. As the other hotels of the chain Kindness the breakfast and a light dinner were included in the price so the price was very good. I had a very good stay at this hotel.

Reviewed By peijunj2020Kindness hotel is known for its’ good service. We were welcome by the friendliness of the staff at the front counter. carpark was nearby and it’s a mere 1-2mins walk. Hotel offered free ice cream and drinks always. They even have supper too. Food was good and I highly recommend this place!

Reviewed By Sam LIn the blink of an eye, today marked the end of my 5 month stay at Changyu. It’s a bittersweet feeling for me. I am finally headed back to the US, but this little compact and quaint hotel had grown on me so much. As a business executive who used to travel worldwide staying at different 5 star hotels pre-Covid, I rarely feel motivated to leave a review, unless i get super upset by something. Except a few selfish guests that smoked in the room next to mine, my stay was so immaculate that 5 months just flew by. It was definitely my “home away from home” as I spent most of my time in Tainan holed up in my room working day and night. The mattress and pillows were very comfy and the room provided everything a typical business traveler would need. The WiFi could be faster but I had no issue tethering 4G from my phone for video calls. The Western breakfast choice for complimentary breakfast was tasty enough for me to have the same thing consecutively for 3 weeks straight once. Next time I am back to Tainan solo, I will not hesitate to call the friendly and caring front desk up and request my room 602 back. See you next time, everyone! Thank you for taking exceptional care of me. TL;DR: highly recommended by a picky traveler. You def get your money’s worth.

Economical hotel with new property
Reviewed By BurkimhuangEconomical hotel with new property~ Enjoy Kindness Day stay in Tainan, but still have some pros and cons: Pros: 1. Quite new hotel with clean room and restaurant 2. Offer FOC afternoon tea and happy hour for every guests! Good food and features snack, especially dry medicine fruit, recommended. 3. Parking lot is also FOC. 4. Toilet has washlet. Cons: 1. Opposite building is under construction, quite annoying. 2. Elevator has smelling. 3. Room was tinny space without bathtub. Overall, Kindness Day is good for businessman for short stay! Nice try!

Clean, comfortable, affordable and good location
Reviewed By akvongCame to Tainan for the Ancient Capital half marathon and booked the Lakeshore Suite room. The value for the room was great and there is plenty of room for parking the car in the basement. Check-in was well organized and efficient. The room was clean and spacious. The bed is very comfortable. The only downside would be the air conditioner vent blower air directly at your face at night. For breakfast we had to chose between 4 dedicated breakfast buffet times during check-in to avoid congestion which was also well organized. A wide variety of breakfast choices suitable for anyone! Gym was well equipped and very clean as they do daily cleaning around noon time. There were 8 treadmills, each had their own dedicated TV with all the channels you will find in the room. Ellipticals, cycle, weight machines, free weights, pull up machine and benches were also available. There's a family mart and shopping mall within a 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel which makes it very convenient. The hotel staffs from the front desk to housekeeping and the restaurant were all very professional, courteous and friendly. Would definitely stay at this hotel again for my next visit.

Reviewed By DrAdoboOk! If you are on the fence on whether to take a family trip here with the littlies, just do it , they will love it . This is a great disneyland alternative! And the bonus is Tainan is one of the best cities if you love food (especially street food) and culture- so something for everyone. Sure its a little crowded here, but staff were very friendly and not overwhelmed. There was some plush toy promo and a staff member gave our kid one even though they didnt have to . Its stuff like that you remember! Great job guys.

Hotel were ideal located nearby city center, abit old fashion as it used nomal door key to hotel room, room were clean, morning breakfast were quite standard on the 11th floor, ok for me and mainly catered to local. Their Taiwanese porridge is good.

Reviewed By Roger PI think this place is a converted motel. Rooms are much larger than expected and as the hotel is set back from the main street it is very quiet. Has a spa, pool table in the lobby area. Breakfast is very Asian style not a lot for the European guest. But for the price its not a problem.
