Reviewed By ItalianStallion76The frothy desk staff was seated on the ground in the mulch when we arrived. She was angry we had interrupted her cigarette break. Her fingernails had dirt from the flower bed in them. She stunk to the high heavens. Then, wanted to swipe my credit card and hand me check in keys. Disgusting !

Reviewed By Barb WExcellent place to stay!!!!! The rooms are extremely clean. The staff is very nice. The housekeeper name Cheryl is a AWESOME cleaner. There was no speck of dirt at all in the room. The swimming pool was nice. The breakfast was awesome good food they had. Great place to stay when you are in Washington Pa.

Clean and restaurants in walking distance
Reviewed By viktoriawillisOverall a good stay. We stopped for an overnight stay and is good for that. However, we had two rooms. The first room, sheets had a stain on them. After telling the front desk they upgraded us to a better room for free without us asking for a different room. (I was just going to change the sheets myself.) Other than that, we had no issues. Rooms are clean and cozy. Newly remodeled, smelt nice. Another bonus, there are restaurants in walking distance and it’s very lit up at night.

Awful experience
Reviewed By R124KUjuliebReserved a room a month prior to visiting. When we arrived with our printed confirmation, we were told they didn’t have a room for us. We chose this hotel so that we could walk to a concert at Wild Things Arena. They were not willing to work with us and the only explanation was “we don’t have your reservation in our system and we have no rooms”. I’m sorry, but I’m standing here with a confirmation and you’re telling me you don’t have our reservation? How is that even possible? I’ve never had anything like this happen before. Stunned, disappointed and in disbelief. I don’t feel like we got the whole story. I think they overbooked, sold out of rooms because of the event and charged others more than the rate we booked at a month prior to make a bigger profit for themselves. Others were upset that there were no parking spaces. Obviously people were parking there for the event that weren’t staying at the hotel and the hotel staff wasn’t doing anything about it. Hotel guests definitely weren’t a priority, so I should be happy that we found a hotel that was accommodating, had ample parking and made us feel welcome.

Reviewed By nopiel117112The pool was gross and overall the hotel was not very clean. The sheets had holes in them. The swimming pool had dirt from the broken concrete around the pool all through it and hair. Also the heat in the pool room was on and set at 80 degrees making the room temperature an unbearable 98 degrees

Reviewed By rybaker92Looks nice at first, once you get to the dirty rooms, and use the squeaky elevator, and get a breakfast in a bag. It puts a damper on the stay in this facility. It needs a lot of TLC. Probably won't stay there for the high price that we paid for.it.

The only thing I was disappointed in was with all of the room amenities we did not have an in-room microwave and the lobby was a bit far away to use that one. Other than that our stay at DoubleTree was perfect.

Stay away, old rundown with no amenities
Reviewed By travelgirl05667Old hotel with no hot food, no fitness center, and the restaurant is closed. Not a 3 star hotel like it was advertised. Part of the hotel is smoke free, but the outside rooms are smoking rooms. I would stay elsewhere if you had other options.
