A great place for an overnight stay
Reviewed By LredmanGreat place for a one night stopover. Although quite noisy in early morning when trucks driving through as to be expected on a main road. Greeted by Tracy in a very friendly manner and when I enquired about borrowing a cooking dish for microwave they were more than happy to provide one. Bbq was handy to cook tea and table and chairs nearby to use in bbq/pool area. Room was small but don’t need any more space when just crashing for a night. Bed was very comfortable with lovely crisp white sheets and room temperature perfect.

Reviewed By donnay933We booked for 3 nights and it is horrible It smells like urine and it’s so noisy We pulled up to our room with people at our table having empty beer cans and people parting at our window I asked to only pay for one night as we were really not happy and wanted to have a nice quiet holiday as it was the first in over a year.. he was rude and advised I was a trouble maker and I would get no refund? DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE! I am so upset and this is not how customer Service should work We will be leaving tomorrow and still having to pay for a place we can’t stand to stay in??? Still after complaining hours ago our table still has beer cans??

Reviewed By karensH8736NDWe started staying at the Tuncurry Beach motel when it was called the Tuncurry Sunset motel - has always been owned by the Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club and 14 years ago when we first started staying loved our time there - over the years some managers came and went and sadly the motel fell into a sad state of management - we heard that there was new managers and have just returned from a 3 night stay and once again had a great time the rooms have are back to a good state very comfortable beds all one needs in a motel is provided and more with microwave and crockery/cutlery as well as the usual motel basics - new air-cons - lovely pool and bbq area and extremely helpful managers who are interested in their guests and their comfort - so happy that this motel is back to what it used to be and am looking forward to a return stay in the next month - club member also receive a discount on accommodation apart from the discount on food and drink at the Club

Reviewed By SolCoopsVery close to the beach, rockpool, cafe and a fabulous new park. The rockpool is an enclosed swimming area, good for if the beach is rough. No lifeguards at the beach when we were there, but some days the waves were really gentle so we enjoyed the easy walk to the beautiful beach. Such a great holiday park, relaxed and great atmosphere, well looked after and the owners very friendly and helpful. Great location, we loved riding around on the bike paths, easy walk to the shops, took some trips across the bridge to Forster, walking or riding. Saw lots of dolphins. We also walked down the road to the Bowling Club, everything is so close.

The man is also prone to misogynistic comments, and also detests people with an education. If you can put that aside the hotel itself and the service are good.

Reviewed By Joel4749A very good park, we parked on grassed area. It was like being in a rainforest with very large trees. Well maintained. Large sites. Plenty of bird life. Amenities cleaned regularly. Pool is really good. It is away from beach but not to far to walk too.

Reviewed By Sarze-JFriends of mine have a Timeshare here, so my family thought we’d come up and stay last weekend, and we enjoyed our time here, I don’t understand all the negative reviews. The lady at check in was pleasant and our room, which had air conditioning and a dishwasher, was in a brilliant spot. I think it’s a child’s paradise, various play areas, a great kid's pool, paddle boats, bikes, small boats on the nearby lake, putt putt and so much more! We will be back and might even look in to the timeshare.
