Reviewed By Adventure61287454535Super nice location in the center of Manila. Rooms may need some maintenence but it’s clean . And staff is very helpful. Good restaurant and breakfast. Thanks to Rachel, Ron and Jeff in restaurant and bar. It was a good week of stay in this hotel. Will come again.

Reviewed By Joel Dwe booked & stayed here during my birthday last April and stayed for two nights since our family of three now has a plus one fur baby we do have a taken a lot into consideration while searching for a hotel that is dog friendly.. like the room space, nearby park or walk pathway for our dog and of course the room cleanliness. then we bump into ascot chain of hotel's website (this includes Citadines, Somerset, etc) we choose their BGC property since it matches all the consideration we are looking for, booking is a breeze special thanks to the front office team special mention to Precious & Bridgette for their patience and customer service during my inquiry and booking process, thank you for request grant on the preferred room which we are planning to stay at in again but on a different floor. hat's off to this ladies and on the day of the check-in Ms. Jhoanna from the front desk is at par on handling everything, hospitality at its best from their security guys, door man and front office. we stayed on a one bedroom room, spacious enough for my family and doggie living room is superb with a view of BGC High Street area, I love the bedroom and on every hotel my family stayed I always check the rest room and its suit my needs separate tub and bath area, amenities is standard as with other hotels. kitchen have the complete amenities and of course coffee maker is available which is my go to area since I'm a coffee love. Breakfast is also okay since we are only eating light for breakfast, you have the basic choices of bread, rice and dishes not to mention cereals and salad. will definitely be here again for another staycation love the place and location, coming back this August for my Son's Birthday. Kudos to the team!! keep the fire burning for the hospitality business!

Reviewed By louievlimI booked another night at this hotel to see and try if something changed the last time i visited last December 2021 and they did. Hotel staff did an excellent job this time with great service! Food was delicious as always. But overall i was happy with my stay since it was easy to check in and out, they were very accommodating. I will surely book and come back again.

Pointless being diamond member, just poor customer service overall
Reviewed By YikchunDon’t expect any golden circle recognition in this hotel. Being a diamond member, I was asking where the club lounge was and I fully respect that when it was closed due to Covid. But shouldn’t the check in staff told me about a complementary happy hour session is provided on level 4? (I find out via other guest? Also this hotel wanted to charge me breakfast when it was clearly a diamond benefit. During check out, I asked the counter check out staff about my arranged hotel transport to the airport (which was already included in my room rate as part of the purchase)- first reaction from them, sir this is at extra charge. Oh please just look at the portfolio The duty manager PJ Forcaldea did reach out to me afterwards but with just a generic email For the premium this hotel is charging (30 percent more than the grand hyatt which is new and only 5 mins away), It’s just not up to par (in hyatt Manila, being a globalist get you an excellent service) One good thing about the hotel though, is the room service, they are properly made

Reviewed By Rafael GThe hotel look like carelessness, from outside you can see that is not gonna be very good. The reception area and lobby is not bad, the personal is okay, the rooms are a disaster. Humidities everywhere, the blankets, pillows, everything with a lot of stains. Towels aswell and not very good smell. And, wait, cackroaches everywhere. I found in just 5 minutos 4 cackroaches, they changed me to another room, and even they spray the room of course i found 2 more in one day, finally i even prefer to check out the day before and loose my money and i couldnt sleep the only night i stayed as its very noise and of course, checking if no cackroaches. Avoid this, this hotel should be closured, the only good is the receptionist that tried to do the best he could.

Reviewed By 34217854Nice apartment in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Only minor issue was that the aircondioner in the bedroom was a bit noisy even though it looked quite new.

What I can say about VGC, was a modern place where you can take photos with your friends, like what we did lots of pose on the venue ?. Boat ride is expensive which cost 400 per person, we didn't tried it. Resto was okay. Overall good place.

Terrible location, facilities, and hospitality
Reviewed By natbacli14Booked for an all-day pool access for friends and family. The pool is quite small, but that's the least of your problems. There is only ONE SHOWER ROOM with a SINGLE SHOWER UNIT for everyone. If you can't wait for your turn, you'll have to shower at the toilet using a pail and a dipper. Also, the shower room lock is defective and is only held by a metal wire, and the toilet flushes don't work. When I went for a quick shower before dipping in the pool, no water came out of the shower head, and not enough water flows out of the faucets. It took 2 hours before the shower unit functioned normally. Their pool, though clean enough to swim in, is apparently not well maintained. At least 4 of my friends were injured by a broken tile on the pool, one of which is a child who had to be given wound treatment by the manager herself. They then decided to repair the tile while the guests were in the pool! I don't know if they periodically check and maintain their facilities. The property is located in a densely populated residential area with an outdoor pool. Not only is your privacy not protected by screens and netting, guests were also not allowed to conduct activities that the manager deems 'too noisy' as according to her, the town administrators call the hotel and complain about the noise. Thus, when we held pool games and had a lot of fun, the manager then went to the poolside and asked us to stop our games because 'the neighbors are complaining'. If the hotel management is mindful of the noise, then why build an outdoor pool in the middle of a residential area? They should've built a library instead. Again, guests should not be blamed for management incompetence. My elderly mother-in-law who also has an eye problem used their ladies room and the lock on the door is so rusted that it failed and trapped her inside for a few minutes. Instead of comforting a panicking elderly woman for something that is not her fault, the manager threatened to break down the door and simply charge the damage to us! Guests shouldn't be blamed for incompetent maintenance. My wife kindly asked the same manager for their accommodation options so that she and my baby would have somewhere comfortable to rest after some swimming. My wife asked if we could check-in for 6 hours, because we thought that being a RedDoorz property, they would have the same hospitality experience as the other RedDoorz hotels we experienced before. However the manager flatly answered that they do not offer other options aside from their overnight stay at which the guest can only check-in from 2pm to 4am and their 'short time' stay of 3 hours. We have no issue if that is their policy, but talking to such an inflexible manager is a very unpleasant experience. My wife chose not to rent a room; if they're geared toward a love-hotel like service, then its none of our business. But we are gravely disappointed by the manager's manner of dealing with guests. According to their RedDoorz description, children 14 years old and below and elderly people 60 years old and above are not allowed to check-in. Perhaps they are indeed geared toward a love-hotel like service. So if that's what you're looking for, then your call. But if you're going with family and friends, you're better off with other properties.
