Hotel El Galeón is located on a privileged quiet place at the south boundary of the town, and it is easily recongnizable by the brick-red coloured building with a curved front. Thanks to this situation, the access to main road is close by, and the street on which the hotel lies sees little traffic. It offers the best starting point for guests looking to visit the town´s main streets as well as the shopping areas. It takes only a 10 minute walk to the main bus stop at the entrance of the historic old town. The inside car park has a direct access to the apartments, while up on top a sun terrace has commanding views of the port and hills. Due to the outstanding location, some apartments have also panoramic views.

Reviewed By IshbelRMost amazing breakfasts- best ever, with homemade cakes and quiches alongside bacon and eggs, fruit, wonderful cheeses and ham. Very comfy large apartment with balcony. 10-15 minutes walk into the centre of town and the bus network. Charming helpful staff.

La pequeña y familiar pensión se encuentra en una casa histórica canaria en la zona peatonal del centro del casco histórico de Santa Cruz de la Palma (18.000 habitantes), en la antigua Calle Real, a aprox. 50 m de distancia del paseo marítimo. Usted, como cliente de La Cubana, se va encontrar en medio de la vida cotidiana palmera. Las plazas más bellas, los mejores restaurantes y cafeterías están a pocos pasos. En horario de trabajo hay un ambiente bastante animado. Para llegar al ó desde el aeropuerto con coche ó en ,, guagua” se tardan aprox. 10 min. Desde/hasta el puerto ó a la estación de guaguas caminando se llega en pocos minutos. Hay un aparcamiento grande y gratuito a escasos 150 m. A la playa se llega en tres minutos. La capital Santa Cruz de la Palma es el centro cultural y comercial de la ,, Isla Bonita”, el punto de partida para caminatas y excursiones a todas las partes de la Isla. Durante todo el año su clima subtropical invita a relajarse. 1ª planta: En la primera planta se encuentran las habitaciones de una a cuatro personas. Estas habitaciones tienen lavabo. Aseo y duchas son comunes. Algunas habitaciones tienen vista a la Calle peatonal (Calle Real) y algunas son interiores y dan a un patio. 2ª planta: Hay un salón amplio con balcón, también con vistas a la C/Real, asimismo una pequeña cocina para preparar desayuno ó pequeñas comidas frias. Hacia los patios hay habitaciones dobles con baño propio.

Reviewed By NisrinetteAntiquated, not soundproof. Dirty. There's no reception in the afternoon. Everything is old and broken. Shared bathroom and wc in one room. W shared bathroom for 20 rooms. Not clean, no soap. Room is full of dust. Not soundproof. Neither from the streets neither from the hall.

All the little squares, restaurants and street cafés are within easy walking distance. To/from the airport it takes 10 minutes by car or bus. Santa Cruz de La Palma is an idyllic little Spanish town off the tourist mainstream with a population of 18.000, it is the capital, cultural and commercial centre of the "isla bonita", the perfect base for hiking tours and excursions to all parts of the island, because of its subtropical climate all year round it is also a splendid site to spend relaxing holidays inmidst Spanish provincial life. The four-storeyed building (without elevator) has nine apartments which are equipped with: shower/WC fully equipped kitchenette flat screen satellite TV with radio rental safe every guest has his own key sun terrace on the roof for all guests free WIFI in all apartments daily cleaning service except for sun- and holidays change of towels twice per week change of linen once per week final cleaning and taxes included Prices from 39,00 euros to 61,00 euros per night for 2 persons.

And thank you for taking time out to check us in out of normal hours. Also, thanks so much for your very kind surprise gift! You helped make the occasion special.. Excellent location for base to explore shops bars and restaurants, plus fantastic views on 4th floor. Well equipped kitchen for self catering. Very large apartment, with many windows for light and breeze access, en suite was private with bidet. Quiet at night. 24hour phone access to hostess. Thanks for a lovely stay.. Disliked... Not much, really! Not ideal stay for any disabled or difficult on feet.

Reviewed By Jade BMy friend & I were nicely surprised by this lovely place. Our apartment was spacious, sunny and very clean with a balcony and ocean view. Each morning I could watch the sunrise from my bed or balcony, wonderful experience! Breakfast was another nice surprise; served from 7:30 till 10:30 so really plenty of time for everyone. Coffee machine, various coffees, teas, juice and milk, cereals, brown & white bread, cheese, ham, jam, yogurts, fresh fruit (oranges, apples, pears, bananas) served every morning, also biscuits and some wrapped cakes. All this for £3 a day! Nobody would complain for that price! Staff so friendly, polite and helpful. Lovely, really nice receptionists, cleaners changing towels and cleaning apartment every day. We can only say a big Thank You for making our stay so nice experience ? Location great too, on the edge of town but very close to centre. Quiet apartments, quiet location and the only we could hear at night or early morning it was ocean waves. Relaxing, pleasant and comfortable accommodation for very reasonable price, surely worth of recommendation.

We had the balcony option; great for a quiet drink overlooking the tiled rooves to the ocean. Nearby Tasca with good food, 10 minute walk to the port with our luggage to catch the early ferry - all downhill. Ideal location to explore the old town of Santa Cruz. Parking nearby (bit tight) in Calle San Sebastián. Would absolutely recommend.

Reviewed By Marcus ZWow! We had one of the renovated rooms and they are just great. Spacious, modern, stylish. I didn’t expect it when I entered the (old fashioned) entrance of the hotel. The hotel is located in the city centre and offers great sea views. Breakfast is fine.

Reviewed By martaindaHemos pasado 6 noches en el estudio número 1. Tiene unas humedades insanas. Al entrar ya huele la humedad. Se ve en las paredes. Ignoro como serán los otros 3. Por lo demás está bastante nuevo. Le falta zona de colgar ropa, solo tiene baldas. El menaje es escaso, 2 de cada cosa, cubiertos platos ...... Gran problema para encontrar aparcamiento en una zona llena de cuestas muy pronunciadas. En 6 días solo me cambiaron las toallas 1 día y porque lo pedi. El precio bueno pero prefiero mas calidad y mas precio. Deberían acometer las obras necesarias para hacerlo más confortable . No volvería obviamente.
