Booked a two night stay, ended up checking out after one night. Beds were uncomfortable, poor quality. Shower was leaky.

Had an early departure the next morning and breakfast was ready first thing at 6 am. It was not in the downtown area so plan accordingly depending on where you need to go. Across hwy 34 is a dining and shopping area, 2 blocks away

Reviewed By PF HThe Courtyard in St. Charles is nestled in such a beautiful area. Plenty of parking and check-in was quick and easy. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The lobby was very clean and inviting, it is also very modern. There was a Starbucks inside the lobby as well. Our room was a double queen. The room was very clean and very well put together. The view out our window was of a beautiful courtyard with spring trees in bloom. There was a desk so I can take care of business, and the television had all streaming services available. The bathroom was clean and had all the amenities that should be there. There was a comfortable recliner and a comfortable chair at the desk as well. The property was quiet and the beds were comfortable, which made it easy to get a good nights sleep.There was a nice fitness center, and I was able to work out. The equipment was in good working order and clean. There was not Complementary breakfast, but there was breakfast available to be ordered through the Starbucks in the lobby. Overall I had a great experience at this hotel. I talked to Mark the GM and he was very nice and we were very grateful for the hospitality he extended to us. We felt safe and secure and I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to all the staff and everyone that helped make it stay so pleasant.

Reviewed By BiggydsbI was very disappointed in the desk clerk. I am Spire Elite with IHG. When I asked for an upgrade with a room with a sofa I was told they were sold out so no upgrade. It is now 11 pm and they are still trying to sell the upgrade rooms on the websites. Next time I the area I will stay somewhere else. I chalk this up to lazyness.

Decent Budget Hotel But Dated

Paid about $70 for one night, probably a tad bit more than it should be giving the property hasn't seen any renovations done since this motel was built in the late 1980s as a Days Inn. Despite the dated appearance, the rooms were clean and nothing sketchy was in the rooms in general. Staff was alright but can be a bit better and nicer. Overall, this is an alright hotel but there's definitely better options in terms of budget hotels in this vicinity, I'd probably would only book this property as a last resort type of option

Reviewed By bodee1999I'm not a fussy traveler and I don't mind staying at older, vintage places--in fact I usually prefer them-- so understand that I'm not picky when I say, "this is not a great place. " This does NOT seem like a wyndham property. The furniture was old, mismatched, worn out and the desk in the room had literally been burned. The linens appeared more or less clean but were dingy and thread bare. We had to wake up the overnight staff to ask for clean linens for the pull out couch .The bathroom ceiling was moldy. On the plus side, staff were friendly and kind and the king room was large. The motel was the only available option in the city for the date we needed. In the future we will drive further to find another choice.
