Tomas and Toni who looked after us so well. The restaurant manager was brilliant. A very relaxing and pleasant stay all round. Would highly recommend. Could not fault anything.

Definitely not a 5star Hotel

Reviewed By andrewcZ4800KC

Firstly I’d like to say that the Hotel could be much better with just a few tweeks and some training for the staff. I stayed in the Adults only section. As this is a joint venture between Protur & Tui if you complain about anything they just blame each other and you don’t get any resolution. On the surface it’s a great hotel but when you start digging a bit deeper it gets worse & worse every day you’re here. Reception & the Tui rep on site are useless they know nothing or just pretend they know nothing and fob you off. They ask on arrival if you would like to use the a la carte restaurants which are part of the all inclusive. You say yes please and they say sorry there is no space for your whole stay but if you come back to reception everyday we will keep checking. Ridiculous! And most days the restaurants are nearly empty, we thought it was just because we are Tui customers. The food is your typical foreign buffet, meat in silly sauces you’ve never heard of which is usually cold. I was served a raw burger, the staff just shrug their shoulders and say do you want a new one. The snack shack by the pool won’t serve you unless you are sat at a table. There is 8 tables for about 100 people & only serves between 13.00 & 15.00. I was served a BLT here with practically raw bacon, a good vet would have brought it back to life! All in all the food is not of the quality you would expect of a 5star hotel. Trying to get a drink from waiting on staff is a lottery, you can be sat there waving your hand in the air for 10mins you just get ignored. I’ve never been asked if my food was ok the whole time I’ve been here they just grab your plate & walk off. The restaurant manager does not like feedback!!! The drinks are ok, only one beer on draft though that’s Estrella. The swim up room we had was very nice, spacious modern and comfy bed. The housekeeping is excellent can’t fault them. I would rate this hotel as a 3 star at the moment. The food and service is poor! The arguments between Tui & Protur shows in how staff treat you and your just left stuck in the middle.

Wonderful stay!!

Reviewed By weerrt

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Sea Gran Playa in mid May. Our room was complimentary upgraded to a junior suite which lovely (room 502). Room was clean, modern and spacious. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The food was nice, plenty of choice so always something we could eat. Shame hot drinks were only available in the restaurant in the morning but plenty of cold options available. You have to pay €1 for a cup but that is refunded when you hand the cup in at the end of your stay. The cup is always exchanged for a clean one when you get a drink. Pool area kept clean and tidy and no problem getting a sunbed although I imagine it might be an issue at peak times. There is plenty of room so the hotel could invest in a few more. Would definitely return to the hotel, looking to book again for next year! Sa Coma is a beautiful place.

Family Holiday

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Hipotels Coma Grand. Our stay was an all inclusive package. The food was to a high standard, freshly cooked and continuously replenished by the staff. The facilities are great for young families. Our room overlooked the pool area which also had sea views. Although we were all inclusive the room had self catering facilities. We are family of four, so the kids stayed on the sofa bed in the living area and the adults had a separate bedroom. Our bedroom size was adequately, however the depth of the room was narrow which left little room to maneuver around the bed. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. Overall we had a pleasant and enjoyable stay and we would highly consider returning next year.

Okay…

Reviewed By alw1126

Rooms were clean and the entertainers were great with the kids. The food was the same every day. Lunch and dinner offered mashed potato and chips as the only potato options daily. The same chicken, fish, braised beef, etc. My brother stayed at the hotel but didn’t get a meal option as he’s vegan and there was little choice for him. He paid for drinks and coffees daily though and when he went into the bar to get a glass of tap water from the jug at the bar, he was told it was only for all inclusive guests and that he had to buy a bottle of water. We found that strange. There’s a weird culture around beverages. The staff have to get your drinks at meals (not including breakfast) and at the bar, there are specific cups for specific drinks and you’ll be corrected if you choose the wrong size. The rooms were nice but bare. No kettle, no bottled water… just beds, a tv, bathroom and desk and an empty fridge. The pool is nice and small. There’s tennis courts and a decent gym and even a squash court. The reception staff varied. Jakob (I’ve spelled that wrong) was very kind. Check out was easy. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend for all inclusive but if you just want a clean hotel near the beach with a pool and you’re happy to eat out for all your meals, it’s definitely a good option.

holiday break well over priced

weve recently stayed in these apartments initailly for 2 adults one child in our booking. when we arrived and got keys to our apartment we were rather disapointment in the lack of the space of apartment , the patio door was not closing., kitchen door was very loose no cups tiny area to attempt to cook in and very little untensils if you tried to. there wasnt any bedding out for our grandson to sleep in we ended giving him the top cover off our bed to sleep in. The staff i cant fault they are extremely friendly do there best to help you out but i feel there working on a very tight budget , i know you never get the comforts of home on holiday but after paying 1900 for this holiday we were rather disappointed, then other guests that had arrived a few days earlier only paying 600 pounds left avery bitter taste in youre mouth ! the good points of these apartments are they are in a good quiet area of sa coma beach is only a short walk away there is a supermarket straight across the road again staff lovely in there. Eating out the happy bar down street does nice food and staff lovely there, there are array of eating places so you are spoilt for choice . The beach and promenade is a lovely walk to Sillot we spent alot of time walking through there . Overall we only spent a few hours wach day around the pool area each day and always got a sunbed . it is a shame because if these apartments had a revamp they could be made so more attractive unfortunately we shall not use them again

Lovely holiday

Reviewed By Roadiebodie

We visited in May with our 3 children aged 9, 7, and 1. The hotel was perfect for children and had a lovely pool, a splash pool and an indoor poor which was ideal when the weather was cooler. The was lots for kids including bike rides, mini water park, trampolines, go karts The food was nice and varied and you have the option to eat at one of the a la carte restaurant, we ate at the Tex Mex which was nice too (although still a buffet). We booked a family suite which was lovely, spacious, clean with great views. Mini bar included and stocked daily, very nice, small and quiet hotel Entertainment was great for the kids, the popped in and out of the kids club and the ladies that run it Tana and Aola were just amazing the kids loved them. Little disco at night with entertainment afterwards, the bar staff were great fun too. The kids loved Miguel and Ricardo they were brilliant and are a credit to the hotel The hotel is on a great location for shops, restaurants and bars. It’s close to the lovely beach too and has not trips all day There’s a little train that we caught to Cala Bona and Cala Millor. The only thing I would say is confusing is from the TUI website it looks like the facilities are all in this hotel, but the hotel is actually part of a complex of a few Protur hotels and you have to visit them to access other things. Overall it was a fabulous hotel, we have had the best time and they made our first post covid holiday perfect. Thanks so much
