Reviewed By brig0407We went to Riquewihr for a sisters trip and this small town was perfect! The staff was very helpful they speak English, French, German and I’m sure others. Very easy to get to. I would mention the hotel has parking cards for your window that work for all public parking lots in the town. If you have a few days head to Ribeauville to do the 3 castle hike.

Reviewed By RoedigThis family owned hotel with three and half storeys is well situated within the hub of Riquewihr. Rooms have everything, no bath and small TV. Internet available at download speed of 3.5 Mbps. A heated pool in the basement is an attraction. Ample parking with breakfast available at €12 per person. Rooms don’t automatically lock on exit, still a manual system. Location is great, value for money excellent.

Reviewed By Lucy AHelpful friendly reception but not manned all day. Cronky lift. Very bad WiFi. Steep staircase. Overpriced unexceptional breakfast in a rather dismal room. No hot water in our bathroom so had to change rooms. Although apologetic nothing more was offered by management. Small towels. Room cleaning good. All rather tired and needing a refurbishment and replacement items like the rusty soap dispenser in the downstairs lavatory.

Adjacent to the hotel door is its great restaurant available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As a visitor, our hotel room was unique with its thick ancient walls surrounding the spacious living and sleeping areas. Plenty of space, well designed accommodation, great service. Pay special attention to the instruction on opening the hotel door from street level.

Il se trouve à 3 minutes à pied du musée de la Tour des Voleurs et à 17,7 km du château du Haut-Koenigsbourg, construit au XIIe siècle. Les chambres chaleureuses allient des éléments rétro à une décoration plus moderne. Elles sont toutes équipées d'une salle de bain attenante, d’un WC et d'une télévision.
Nice old hotel but not for us
Reviewed By Cruiser13167496433The hotel is in a beautiful old building. Because of the age of the building the rooms are small. Downstairs is a restaurant open for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is served in a different hotel. The management cannot do anything about the size of rooms but they can make sure that other facilities are looked after. The towels in the bathroom were old, worn and ripped. A definate no go. Will we stay here again ? I dont think so.

Otherwise high recommendations from us. We were 3 families travelling together. 6 adults and 4 children and just loved the house and the location + very helpful staff!

Reviewed By Jari-PekkaThree days at this wonderful, original Alsacian house from 1605 at very center of medieval city of Riquewihr. Book this, if you want to stay within the walls of Riquewihr, the most beautiful medieval city in Alsace. Suitable for two couples or two persons looking for separate bedrooms. Very helpful and innovative landlord, immediate answers to any question or request. This duplex is on second and third floor of old building, very original in structure but todays equipment including wifi. Narrow and steep steps, good excercise for healthy legs. Even this is located in the center of the village, we got parking place about 15 meters from the appartment door. On request, we also got key to separate, authentic storage room to keep all the wines shopped from various wineries in good condiction prior to loading the car just before departure. Higly recommended to all Riquewihr lovers.

Reviewed By Davina252This accommodation was full of charming character which was delightful. It was so centrally located however we did not have issues with any noise from restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful and lovingly prepared by our very nice host Martine who was very helpful.
