Reviewed By FrankGeislerThe hotel / residence looks modern from the outside. Inside it is not very well maintained. Despite all service personnel was very friendly and helpful the rooms and other places were not very clean and partially ugly. Look at our pictures which document the “cleanliness”. Price for breakfast was a rip off for what you get: nothing fresh and even the amount of croissants was limited! We definitely would not return! Is this a helpful review? Great base for visiting the Pont du Gard

Reviewed By HannahB2672We had a very nice stay at camping La Sousta! The showers, toilets, sinks, etc. were very clean. The camping is very calm, but there is a good atmosphere at the bar in the evenings. The bar and bistro are not really expensive, but are of good quality. There is a nice beach at the river to relax and it is only a very short walk to the beach at the pont du gard. The places to put your tents or caravans are pretty big and there is a lot of shade. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and recommend it to everyone looking for a camping in that area.

A grand 19th-century house. The air-conditioned rooms are very comfortable and beautifully decorated: Louis XIII atmosphere for one, another with canopies and old family furniture and the 'Grand-mere' room in the spirit of the 1900's. Delicious breakfasts. An excellent address where socialising is encouraged.
What a lovely place!
Reviewed By BK122Wish we had stayed longer than the one night. We had reservations to see the light show at the Pont du Gard, which is about a mile away and is only shown a few timesaver each June. We walked, as it would have taken us the-same time or longer to drive. The location of this tiny town is actually very convenient to exploring, close to Nimes, Arles, etc, so can easily be a base for exploration. Pierre is a lovely host. His love for this medieval building he turned from ruins into a wonderful b&b is obvious. He is helpful and pleasant. A great baker too!! Served us an apple an Almond tart baked by him in the am, as well as home made jams. The rooms are quaint. Beautiful decorations. There are stairs and no elevator, so be mindful if an issue Loved it and would definitely stay again.

A secret garden sanctuary
Reviewed By harilimayeA lovely Bed and Breakfast in a charming property surrounded by a beautiful wild garden full of trees. Hosts were very welcoming, kind and knowledgeable about the area. Rooms have a private entrance so we were able to exercise our independence and take advantage of the close proximity to the Pont du Gard (a short walk less than 1km away), and the natural beauty of the surrounding area. Really lovely stay, we hope to come back !

Reviewed By Helen1971-42Warmly welcomed at this lovely B&B. Only 3 rooms so we had the pool to ourselves (very welcome after a long drive). Lovely breakfast with homemade jam. Only a short walk to Pont du Gard one way and Remoulins the other. Highly recommend this place.

Reviewed By midiman2014Nice hotel to stay,very clean and correct.owner was very helpful an didn't hesitate to help or listen.when we first arrived woman at reception was cold but warmed up after a while,we thought hope everyone around isn't unfriendly like her!but she became warm and the man was always nice,smiling and joking.hotel is situated on main Street but is okay for noise.breakfast was extra and good.only thing missing is a nice garden and parking quite limited but all in all no problem to stay there again.

Reviewed By Margaux08We stayed in another town, close to Remoulins and were looking for reasonably-priced restaurants in the area around Le Pont-du-Gard. Les Glycines is really very, very good. It has quite a large selection of dishes. The service is quick and everyone is very friendly and helpful. I think they have large crowds at lunch. Dinner is quieter. Very pleasant. I highly recommend the Glycines restaurant.

A luxurious rampart near Pont du Gard
Reviewed By Kyle OThis is an amazing bed and breakfast (maison d'hote) in a renovated guard tower in the old part of Remoulins. It is a four (five?) story building with an actual stone spiral staircase and exposed timber ceilings but with very modern decor. The ground level is a common area that includes a kitchen and fridge for guest use, dining room and a library with a stone arch ceiling.The hosts live on the first floor and then there are three suites on the upper floors. Our family of five stayed in the "suite du rempart" a 2 room plus sleeping loft suite that felt larger than our North American house and was at least 5 times the size of the tiny Paris apartment we rented the week before. The common rooms on the ground floor were comfortably cool all day compared to the plus 35 temperatures outside and yes our room was warm, but not uncomfortable and cooled off nicely over night. It's southern France after all and we were expecting hot. The Continental breakfast included was served in the south facing but shaded garden and was outstanding (fresh croissants, 3 different breads, fruit, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, orange juice.) In Paris breakfast like this would have cost our family at least half the price of the room. Other reviewers have noted the WiFi isn't fast, but it is sufficient, and it's beautiful southern France and there is so much to see that isn't on your screens. There also is no live TV, but they have a collection of DVDs in the library and a Wii. My kids enjoyed this during the hot late afternoon after we had spent 5 hours canoeing and swimming in the river. Our hostess was amazingly helpful and gave us great advice on how to best spend our limited time to see the highlights of the region. The location is excellent. 30 minutes from Avignon, 15 minute to Uzes. Pont du Gard is literally just around the corner, and Remoulins has everything you need including a swimming area in the Gardon river and a large supermarket. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

Puis le savoureux repas pris ensemble le deuxième soir, convivial, copieux et complet Puis l'hébergement, une bâtisse d'une autre époque entièrement rénovée, meublée et décorée avec goût. Pour finir, un adorable trop court séjour de 2 jours à renouveler plus longuement.
