Reviewed By karina dGreat little place. The suite was spacious with a separate bedroom. Both rooms had a TV. NIce view over the hillside. Both showers were good. The suite could easily have slept 4 people. Very quiet as on a small road. Easy to find. Very modern.

Reviewed By 322jackysThe hotel gets old and rooms should be refurbished. Reception was excellent, restaurant with nice dishes and tasty breakfast. Due to the Pandemic a breakfast buffet was not available and so everything was more complicated. Communication was only possible in Spanish.

Reviewed By Aoife WA stop on our Camino journey and surely one of the best nights ever full of laughter and good food. This accommodation is approx 8km out of the town but a quick call to them and they will pick you up in the centre of town/drop you back in the morning. Beautifully located close to a beach with stunning views both at night and day. Sadly didn't get to the beach because of rain! But it didn't stop us from enjoying good food and drink and laughter that night. Enjoyable tapas and meals. Rooms spacious well equipped and clean. Thanks everyone!

Reviewed By Maninasuitcase2014We had two bedrooms a small sitting room and a kitchenette. As we on stayed one night, bedrooms and bathroom were our priority. It has a slightly oldie world feel about the interior but very clean with a modern bathroom. The key holder was very helpful and accommodating.

As Chivas is a country lodge from the beginning of the 20th century. It is located in a farming land of 5,000 square meters, totally surrounded by stone walls as old as the house, where 2 granaries are located (the jewels of the house). It is a two-story house.

Reviewed By LeeyukThe agricultural background of the hotel is evident from the extensive grounds, supplementary buildings and farming instruments scattered about. It's a modest but sprawling building with large spacious rooms with attached bathroom and wooden flooring. All a little scruffy but clean and keeping with the farmstay theme. Food is simple but more than adequate, the staff seemingly confined to two very busy women workers. Breakfast was similarly simple, and disappointing for not offering any fresh farm produce. Comfortable for a short stay.

Reviewed By GoPlaces52812986590Do not choose this hotel in the autumn or winter. The hotel is located 200meters from the bar and in pooring rain not easy to go to. The rooms were very cold and the humidity was almost 100%. It was very difficult to dry your own cloth. No drying machine available. Probably it will be oke in the summer. We were doing the camino Portuguese.

Gracias a Fabiola por su hospitalidad, por dar tanta y tan buena información de la zona, por ese trato cercano y familiar. Los apartamentos están muy bonitos decorados, no falta ni un detalle y la limpieza es impecable. A solo 10 minutos del centro de Vigo. Tiene un jardín muy cuidado, parking privado gratuíto, un cuarto exterior con lavadora, secadora, contenedor, productos de limpieza...etc. Si volvemos por la zona sin duda volveremos a estos apartamentos con encanto.

Basic hotel/hostel a bit difficult to find
Reviewed By SMO2015My husband and I booked a private room (with shared bathroom) as part of my first stay along the Camino Portugués. I hadn’t been sure what to expect, given that it was a larger city and how busy it would be to show up and request a private room. The hostel is located along a main road with no obvious sign, where I was instructed to obtain the key from a print shop before going up a flight of stairs next door. It was only through seeing another pilgrim that I followed in finding out where it was. Through various gestures, I obtained my key and found my room. Across the hallway was a common hostel setting with multiple bunks. A shared kitchen was available but I didn’t use it. Despite being on a busy street, I wasn’t able to find good restaurants for dinner/breakfast, although the hostel did offer its own simple meal fare for a fee. Not entirely a memorable experience, but enough to provide a good nights rest for us both before continuing our journey.
