we stayed two different nights in the same week and rates vary allot. The show and bed ok just the TV had one channel in one room and a few free to air in the other. Get a ground floor room as you have to trudge up the stairs. Parking is not under cover. We desperately needed to use the laundry but it was full of ladders and stuff and closes early. Book direct and save $20

Handy location

Reviewed By Veronica M

Found this motel to have small but very clean rooms and the most delightful and friendly Asian staff and managers. The price was right but the motel itself is tired and very outdated. The manager gave us a lovely quiet room in the corner or the building, and there was no noise but the carpet was not laid properly and was loose and wrinkled in the corner of the bed, presenting my frail aged partner with a real slip, trip and fall hazard. Access to the room was difficult because of high steps and the parking around the back near the room was via a very tight and narrow driveway and I couldn't open either door of the car. All in all, not an unpleasant experience but not sure I would stay there again.

ENJOYED OUR STAY!

Reviewed By iamsuey

We stayed for two nights over Easter as all the accommodation in Canberra that was left was expensive. Turned out to be a great choice. The room has obviously been refurbished and has an endless supply of power points. Is very modern. The bathroom had two toilet roll holders and a heater in the lights. Only issue with that is the switches are marked incorrectly. The light operates the heat and the heat operates the light. Just a minor issue. The cotton buds and band aids in the bathroom was a nice touch. We had numerous different kinds of tea to choose from and were given a full pack of biscuits. Check in and out was smooth. The only thing I found odd was that they didn't make our bed up. Usually when you stay 2 nights anywhere they pull your bed up. The sink for washing up, cutlery and the microwave were all good. The hairdryer could do with an upgrade. A lot of places were closed over Easter but we managed to find places to eat. The black out curtains were good and being upstairs it was fairly quiet. Would stay here again. Is close to everything. We discovered a bbq area when we were driving out on the first night also. The Riverbank of Queanbeyan Cafe nearby is good for breakfast. We had a great stay thanks.

Comfortable and well--priced

Reviewed By Peter L

For an overnight stay in Queanbeyan/Canberra, the Crest Motor Inn was more than satisfactory. The room was fine, it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was $15 cheaper than the alternatives. It, however, is a little way from the main streets of town. I didn't check it out, but I did note it has a guest kitchen - which for some travellers might be seen as a plus. Yes, I'd happily stay at the Crest Motor Inn again.

Hotel Queanbeyan

We’re a suburban pub, where the locals meet, and where all are welcome — whether you’re from across the border, or further afield. We’ve been Queanbeyan’s favourite neighbourhood pub since 1927. Top quality with generous serves open for lunch and dinner. Great for a family meal, a business lunch, or relaxing with your mates after work. Catch the match of the day at our sports bar. This place was originally built to house the workers who had moved to the area to build Canberra. It was sited near the railway, so they could get to and from work easily. As there was prohibition of the sale of alcohol in the ACT around that time, the new workers and residents of Canberra flocked across the border to buy their alcohol from us. We’re still a popular place to get your alcohol, with our drive through bottle shop! And all those decades on, we’re still at the heart of the local community. You’ll also hear us called the ‘Top Pub’ by locals. We sponsor plenty of community groups and sporting teams, including the Harman AFL side, and the Queanbeyan Royals Netball club. We run our own social darts, cricket, and basketball teams, too. We provide a courtesy bus, after 6 pm Thurs, Fri, Sat nights. So if you’re over the limit, we’ll make sure you get home safe — whether home is around the corner, or Gunghalin. There’s a constant round of great events for you to enjoy at Hotel Queanbeyan — including live music, karaoke, and more. Hotel Queanbeyan opens Monday to Saturday at 8:00am and is licensed until 2:00am. Sunday we are open 10:00am until 10:00pm.

Perfect cozy hotel, very clean and great service

Reviewed By 101reginau

I stayed at the hotel as I needed 1 quick night in and out of Canberra. The place is spotless and the rooms are very cozy and ave everything you needs. The showers/toilets are just outside the rooms, but everything is new, slick, nicely done very very clean (can't stress that enough) and it was no trouble at all to walk just 5 steps and use a nice big bathroom and come back to he room. The room itself has a fridge and coffee/tea facilities. The staff were extremely friendly and even helped out with a charger that I needed on the spot. Having the bar/restaurant downstairs is pretty comfortable if you want something decent to to eat. I would highly recommend it.

Room was quite, bed and room comfortable. While a extra blanket was provided a electric blanket would have been preferred for those chilly winter nights. Plenty of parking and walking distance to local shops.

Clean, peaceful and well-organised

Clean, friendly and well-organised. A lovely stay, peaceful surroundings. We stayed in a 3 bedroom cabin with 4 x teenagers plus 2 x adults. It was spacious and clean, and more modern than I was expecting. The pool and bbq areas were well-maintained - the heating in the camp kitchen was a plus! Will stay again.
