Friendly Family Owned Hostal
Reviewed By John BMy wife & I stayed at Hostal Expo for 1 night on our Portuguese Camino. It is located approx. 4 km from Porrino but the owner will collect you from the town & drop you off the next morning. The decor of our room was a little tired and old fashioned, but the bed was comfortable. The evening meal provided was excellent as was the breakfast the following day. Daniel and his family were very obliging and couldn't do enough for us.

Reviewed By PflanzenesserI booked a room here while on the Camino. Wanted a single room without snoring pilgrims and a less frequented bathroom. Enjoyed both. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. With the reception one and my room 3 stairs up (no lift) the nice young man carried my luggage all the way up! My room seemed to be one of the older ones. Quite small but really ok if you are used to pilgrim hostels. Shared bathroom new and perfectly clean! When talking about my hurting muscles the staff gave me a recommendation for a massage therapist who was arranged to come to my room in the morning. Best idea ever! She did a great job on my legs and feet, I was more than happy and was able to walk without pain afterwards! Vegetarian pilgrim menu was lovely! I would go there again!

Reviewed By Lampadener_BrotWir waren für eine Übernachtung während dem camino Portugues hier. Wir hatten eine Kammer gebucht wo normalerweise 4 Menschen sind. Gott sei Dank waren wir nur zu zweit sonst wäre es zu warm gewesen. Duschen sauber und ordentlich, Toilette ebenso. Wäsche und Trockner sind etwas teuer. Automaten stehen für kleine Getränke und Süßigkeiten bereit

El dueño ( carlos) muy amable y se nota que le gusta su trabajo y se ve en todos los detalles que tiene con sus peregrinos. Recomendaremos este albergue a nuestros amigos que vengan hace el camino portugues. Nos gusto mucho su cocina y terraza para descansar por la tarde/noche. Un abrazo muy fuerte

Habitaciones privadas nuevas con baño privado y cocina
Reviewed By ChemaJSSe trata de habitaciones privadas con baño y cocina privada. Las instalaciones estan nuevas y es una excelente elección. Dispones de aire acondicionado y wifi. Es un edificio completo de habitaciones privadas, no tiene recepción, se hace en el restaurante del mismo dueño que hay debajo (Restaurante Paso a Nivel). Todo es electrónico, te dan un codigo y con eso entras y sales del edificio y la habitación cuando quieres. Muy buena elección. Un pero para los que hacen el camino de santiago es que los domingos el restaurante abre tarde por lo que las mochilas para que se las lleve correos hay que dejarlas en la pasteleria de al lado, pero no es un inconveniente. La pega mia es que aunque adelantamos el 25% para la reserva, el resto se pagaba en el restaurante pero en efectivo, no en tarjeta. Nos tenian que haber avisado. Por lo demas es muy buena elección.

Cozy and brand new Albergue located in the historical center of Porrino. Only 28 beds and close by all you need: supermarkets, pharmacies and restaurants. We have a bar, A Francachela (Plaza Central, Nº 2) and a Restaurant, El Patio (Servando Ramilo, Nº 26), at your disposal.
Rude cleaning lady, shower is a joke!
Reviewed By MarlonMartinezThe staff was really helpful when I arrived. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Location was excellent. The real negative was having a lot of bunk beds squeezed into large rooms with a single shower which doesn’t always work right. They charge 2€ for towels. Also I was packing at 9am and was already being shouted by the cleaning lady to hurry up and leave which definitely ruined any good vibes I had about the place.

Reviewed By christawN1127HUAufenthalt 1 Nacht Mai 2022. Der Geschäftsführer war sehr freundlich, hat mir das Zimmer gezeigt und die Codierung erklärt. Zimmer mit Bad sehr sauber, Lage sehr laut, da an der Hauptstraße. Bei geschlossenem Fenster wesentlich leiser. Das Essen im Restaurant Paso a Nivel war nicht besonders gut. Das eingeschlossene Frühstück am nächsten Tag ging so, die Dame hinter der Theke war sehr unfreundlich. Alles in allem ist diese Pension zu teuer. O Porrino ist einer der hässlichsten Orte, die ich je gesehen habe, wofür natürlich die Pension nichts kann.

Reviewed By Joao-CanNice. Old fashion. No air condition which is bad in the summer. Clean a safe rooms. Quiet and no far from the camiño. The wifi is very good in the first floor. For one night is good enough. For more, try other.
