Reviewed By RamonasExperiencesThe hotel is beautifully surrounded by nature with mountains, small waterfalls and rivers, it's quiet and isolated and you can hear the rain. The hotel rooms are clean and spacious as well. However, as you're walking around the hotel, there are clearly many things that need fixing and cleaning (especially the carpets along the hotel corridors). The restaurant staff are immensely helpful, hardworking and joyful. The food needs heavy improvement. It's bulk food that wasn't appetizing, Also, very little options for vegetarians/vegans. I wasn't looking forward to my next meal at the hotel. The spa facilities are a JOKE. Do not bother coming here if you're coming specifically for the spa. The "thermal" pools are either lukewarm or cold water, I wash my hands in warmer water than what the pools were. Not relaxing at all. Also, because of COVID almost half of the facilities were closed, which is fair enough and there is no problem with that but none of that was shared with us before we made the booking! So here are the options we had: Freezing pool, cold pool, lukewarm pool, sauna and showers. And the staff didn't speak English either. If you want to come here to travel around the area or be close to nature, then great but don't bother with any of the hotel facilities.

Reviewed By billmatthiesenWe enjoyed wonderful hiking week in the Pyrenes (August, 2019), using the Hotel Sabocos in Panticosa as our base. The hotel is family-run with a friendly and attentive staff -- and a wonderful Argentine chef. Rooms are basic but very comfortable, quiet and clean. There are nice spaces both inside and out for get-togethers over drinks or just reading or writing postcards. Nice small bar. The village of Panticosa is charming, with absolutely spectacular scenery. Also very nice little cafes and tapas places close by. You can do hikes right from the village or start from other trailheads -- including the Banos de Panticosa just a few miles away. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Reviewed By Journey402112We stayed here for three nights in Panticosa and had a wonderful time! The location was excellent and the room was great. The staff were very helpful and made us feel vey welcome. I would recommend Pension Panticosa to anybody planning to visit this area of Aragon as you would want to visit it again! A big thanks to the Staff. Oops i forgot to mention,some great bars and restaurants!

Reviewed By Amanda CI would definitely recommend staying here. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is exactly what you need before heading off for a day of skiing. The beds are really comfy. There is a storage room for skis etc. It only takes about 10 mins to walk to the slopes in Panticosa or to get the bus from the there to formigal. One suggestion would be to start breakfast at 7:30sm so as people can make the 8:30am bus to formigal. Service, cleanliness and rooms all great :) Great stay, thank you :)

Reviewed By OpinionatedHikersWe arrived in Panticosa on a stormy night, after completing a multi-day backpack trip in the Pyrenees. When not backpacking, we usually stay at frontcountry campgrounds. But we were in need of break, we saw Vicente Hotel, so we walked in. We met Jaime, the owner, looked at a room, and instantly knew we'd found a hikers' haven. This very reasonably-priced hotel is small, family owned and run, conveniently located beside the main road, yet within easy walking distance of the village. The rooms are simple, but very clean and comfortable. They're also quiet (facing away from the road), with pleasing views of the village immediately below and the ski hill beyond. Best of all, Jaime is a font of knowledge about the Pyrenees. He grew up in Panticosa and began climbing as a boy, alongside his father, who eventually passed the hotel on to him. Though a hotelier by trade, Jaime is a black-belt mountaineer who loves the Pyrenees, knows them intimately, and gladly, patiently shares his knowledge with hotel guests keen to hike. Talking with him was fun, inspiring, and extremely helpful. He studied maps with us and offered advice that proved invaluable for our next foray into the mountains. Though we intended to stay at Vicente Hotel for just one night, we stayed a couple more. We're glad we did. And we believe you will be too, especially if you're here to hike. ... By the way, Vicente Hotel is just a couple minutes' walk from a superb restaurant (ask Jaime for the name), where we treated ourselves twice. Be sure to order the potatoes, and the green beans, along with whatever meat they grill for you. They also have Marlin, Spain's most distinctive beer, on tap.

Great hotel
Reviewed By lou wThe hotel is in a perfect location ,there is public parking a few metres away which is free ,the cable car not much further along with a few bars on route .The hotel is immaculately clean with ski lockers and boot room .The room we had was a good size with a very nice en suite ,again immaculate .I would just like to thank the owners for their help during our stay it was much appreciated and all the best for the future.

Reviewed By Voyager645043Hemos pasado unos días muy agradables en este apartamento situado en Panticosa. Muy limpio, cómodo, espacioso y tranquilo. El menaje es un poco escaso pero suficiente. Camas cómodas y wifi. Trato amable por parte de sus propietarios. Volveremos sin lugar a dudas.
