Top 10 hotels in Napa, United States

June 27, 2022 Milan Banda

Gold and silver may have been behind the hordes that flocked in the 1800s, but liquid gold - Chardonnays, Cabernet Sauvignons and Pinot Noirs - is behind the modern migration. This dream destination for wine lovers has an abundance of fine restaurants and inns. Horse posts have been replaced by bike racks, and pedal power is a great way to explore.

Nice and fair one

Reviewed By Nhoom

Parking area is huge but no charging station for EV. Reception was nice. The room is big with good facilities. There is a pool. That I did not try. There have 3 main access, only the main entrance at the lobby can be accessed with out a key card. There is no cart or trolley provided so if you travel with a lot of luggages that can be a problem. Especially, if you are assigned the 2nd floor. The breakfast is quite good. But may be too much potato in your burrito. The restaurant is very strict about your breakfast voucher / coupon. Make sure you keep it, show it and have them take it. I put it on the table all the time, nobody pick it so I bring it back to the room with me. There the troubles happen. So make sure she takes it from you.

Great Hotel! Best Concierge Services

Lisa Ross was the most phenomenal concierge I have dealt with. Lisa planned our stay from start to finish, and she didn't leave any details un attended. You can tell her attention to detail through her work. This was the first time I traveled and did not have to worry about planning any of the details. Highly recommend

Great Style overall. But needs work in the F&B department.

Reviewed By 939priscillab

I enjoyed this property for its comfort with modern, yet rustic styling appropriate to the region. My only complaint is in the F&B department. There were 3 of us who ordered a light supper at 6:30pm. We’re talking salads with some chicken on top. It took 30 minutes to bring the first order out, another 10 for the second person, and the third person’s order came still later, and that was a starter size with no chicken. We had to leave to get to the airport, so the third person didn’t have them correct his order. I’m wondering what it’s like when they’re truly busy, as when we ate, there was only one other person eating and she had already been served.

Clean Lovely Hotel

Reviewed By HendixMom12

We chose this hotel for a four-night stay because it was very close to where my son and daughter-in-law live and it had received mostly good reviews. PROS: 1) The front desk staff was uniformly FANTASTIC! Everyone we dealt with was welcoming, friendly and helpful. 2) The room looked like it had been recently remodeled, and it was very pretty. I loved the shower and the bathroom sink. While I'm a fan of those wonderful little bottles, the body wash, shampoo and conditioner were in large bottles attached in the shower, and I thought that was great (smelled great, too). We were on the second floor on an end, and it was very quiet. 3) Location: It was super close to Highway 29 (so easy to get to St. Helena, Yountville, Calistoga, etc.), one block from an excellent restaurant (Fume), and close to downtown and other locations we wanted to go to. Parking was free and plentiful. 4) The room rate on Wednesday and Thursday was $135, which I thought was very reasonable for Napa. They are not doing daily housekeeping. As we were staying four nights, we could have had one day of service, but we were fine without it. When we needed more cups, coffee or other things, the front desk staff took care of our request right away. CONS: 1) The pillows were hard as rocks. It would have also been nice to have a clock radio (I know...old school). 2) Continental Breakfast: With so many renowned bakeries in the region (and considering the room rates), it would have been nice to have a more upscale selection of breads, pastries, and bagels (there's a great bagel shop nearby, and Trader Joe's has a good selection of goodies, too). It would also be a good way to call attention to those businesses, too. 3) There are no vending machines, and only one ice machine. It would be nice to at least have additional ice machines, and a vending machine on each floor.

SENZA Hotel

When Kathryn and Craig Hall purchased SENZA, formerly known as La Residence in 2006, they aspired to extend the wine experience beyond the tasting rooms of HALL and WALT wineries, and to give each guest a fuller slice of Napa living. Over the last decade, the Halls helped grow SENZA from a country bed and breakfast to a luxury hotel.

Senza-tional

Reviewed By 633sameets

Just got back from a week in California for vacation. We spent 2 nights in napa and stayed at Senza. I can't say enough good things about this place. Staff was all helpful, friendly, and communicative. Their breakfast is actually great! Rooms are large, bed was incredibly comfortable, and definitely very clean. It was like a spa. Hot tub was very relaxing. I guess my only complaint (if I had to choose something) was more free weights in the gym? But that is incredibly minor and I am probably the o ly weirdo who actually used the gym during a vacation. I would recommend this hotel to all. Especially couples.
