Facing the Mont Ventoux with a great scenic view, in the middle of our vineyard and olive trees, we propose you: - 5 large climatized B&B (from 35 to 50 M2) ( 376 to 538 ft2) with large terraces (from 20 to 25 M2) (215 to 538 ft2) - a SPA including an indoor pool, jacuzzi (hot tub), sauna and hammam. 10 rentals from 2 to 10 peoples, 40 to 200 M2 ( 430 to 2152 ft2) with air conditioning and private bathrooms in nearly all the bedrooms.
Charming and Comfortable
Reviewed By blee2014We spend a few days of Christmas break in a guesthouse of this place, with the spa access. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable - and very clean everywhere. The owners are very helpful and we enjoyed their advice in exploring the area (for wine tasting and visiting). Having access to spa was really the thing to have, especially in the cold season! Definitely recommendable to other visitors to the region.

Reviewed By JeffDuMondeThe location is convenient - a short walk to Malaucene Centre - and the setting is more than pleasant. But this facility is designed for week-long family vacations. If you are expecting hotel-like services (like a 24 hour receptionist) you will be disappointed. Be prepared to make your own bed, provide your own toiletries and towels and clean your unit before you depart. I booked 3 nights through a hotel service and was not at all prepared for these inconveniences.

"Cyclists and Others"
Reviewed By SobermanUKMalaucene is at the foot of one of the main routes up Mount Ventoux, so one expects to see cyclists in numbers in town. In a busy street with plenty of competition, Le Blueberry caught our eye when we were looking for lunch, because it exuded a friendly atmosphere and was very busy. There was lycra in profusion and cycles propped in every available space nearby, but the service was quick and friendly and the food was local in style and very acceptable. Wine was attractively priced - not necessarily the case in Provence. The special cyclists' menu was a nice idea. It was noticeable that there was a large number of locals eating here, always a good sign, and the factor which influenced our choice. We did not regret it!

Wifi not hifi so bye bye
Reviewed By CycleGuyThis isn't a flash hotel. No shade thrown as it doesn't pretend to be much else. For this review i have to think like my 25 yo self as I'm here for the sport and not the hotel. But some things are important for the sports nut!! The hotel is basic and provides the bare necessities. Rooms are comfortable and spartan. Toiletries weren't provided but I took a leaf out of the good book and helped myself to some publicly available soap. So far my 25 yo self isn't caring much as I'm here for the cycling. I expect everyone is here for the same reason. There's no on site bike storage. They let you store the bike in your room for a €3/day fee. Small grumble but no big deal. Again, 25 yo self not caring. Parking isn't on site but relatively close by in a local parking zone. Free overnight parking outside if you jag a spot but be gone by 9 in the morning. Again, 25 yo self not caring. Noise transfer between rooms is a big of a problem especially as my next door neighbours who really were 25 (give or take) stayed up most of the night chatting. I was so exhausted after the day's riding I coped. My 25yo self would've probably joined them. Again, no drama. Bed, btw, was fine for one but two might have to be really comfortable sleeping in each other's arms for a good night's sleep. I guess my 25yo self see this as a bonus? Didn't try the food. 25yo self took own breakfast as he's tight. Ate out or not at all at night. Seemed to be a popular venue for other diners but won't vouch for it. Staff are OK...ish. Language a bit of a problem and they're on site limited hours but my 25yo self wasn't in need of hand holding or had problems. If it keeps the price down then I'm satisfied. But.... here's where me and my 25yo self have some trouble. The wi-fi in my room was essentially non-existent. Abri staff - you need a wi-fi booster! A hotel where the wi-fi is closer to 1998 than 2018 isn't acceptable. No ifs or buts and is a deal breaker for future trips. Be warned. The wifi is a lottery and most (all?) travellers will want to have access to this guaranteed. So for almost anyone who's travelling to Ventoux and wants to share their experience through social media come armed with plenty of data on your phone's plan (and I had rubbish data coverage on my phone but that could be my phone provider's fault). If they fix the wi-fi tell us and the ratings would be higher.

Sympathique terrasse, assez grand séjour qui nous a permit d'entreposer 4 vélos tout en y déjeunant sans se sentir étriqué. Petit + piscine et jacuzzi chauffé, seul bémol le sauna et le hammam ne fonctionnait pas.. D'où les 4 étoiles

Probably the worst place I have ever stayed in
Reviewed By John WThe one positive is that the location for cycling up and around Mont Ventoux (as we were) is good. After that I am really struggling to think of anything positive. There is a good selection of property around Malaucene, and you can certainly do much better than stay at Residence Maloc.
