Gone downhill in two months. Breakfast awful!
Reviewed By disneychickThe hotel itself is very nice and clean. The suite is spacious and well equipped. The breakfast, however, is a total embarrassment. We stayed here in Feb and while not fabulous was adequate. This time there was not even a toaster with something basic like toast or a bagel. Someone who is diabetic would have nothing to eat. There was some oatmeal, some raisin brand and corn flakes, two small thins of yogurt and very little else. The “hot” items were prepackaged horrible biscuits with a minuscule piece of sausage and a pre packaged (what we think because you couldn’t tell) potato of some sort. Looked like a small half of baked potato. This is truly not up to a Marriott level and we are not picky. At this rate, they would be better served not offering breakfast at all. Very disappointing Marriott!

Reviewed By zanettajacksonI love that the room did not have carpet. Because hotels with carpet have bad odor and this room did not have a bad odor. Location is good, a lot of fast food restaurants are near and other shopping stores.

Reviewed By tommG8984THVery clean, secure feeling, breakfast was waffles, yogurt, cereal, etc, coffee, tea hot chocolate. Also coffee in the room. Bed was a little firm for my liking. We were on our way to the outer banks from Florida, and Lumberton, NC was a good stopping location so we could arrive at Kill Devil Hill by noon the next day Would stay there again.

Stained Memories Leave Much to be Desired
Reviewed By Vacation14910831544Stopped at the hotel for an overnight stay on the way home. Front desk staff was very polite and accommodating. Hotel is located right next to I 95 which makes it a great stop for the drive but unfortunately a little too close when it comes to the noise from 95. I tried to use a sound app on my phone to drown out the sound of semis but struggled to fall asleep. Room was ok but, as someone who frequents Marriott hotels, did not meet the usual standards we are used to. There was a stain on the bed cover and hair on the ice bucket. I know everyone is short staffed but the stain on the cover of the bed was very noticeable. When we were leaving police were responding to items stolen from the truck next to ours. Thankfully our car was not damaged or broken into. We will not be returning to this hotel.

Reviewed By chevyflygirlFabulous hotel with friendly staff. Room was very clean and quiet. Glad to have been able to bring our Boston terrier. Breakfast in the morning was terrific with great coffee and hot water for tea. Eggs and sausage were yummy. Would stay again.

Reviewed By BigJim171we were given a room and when we moved in found that the bath/shower controls were removed and tub full of dirt. The whole property could use a good cleaning. Staff were nice and breakfast normal but probably wont be back.

Reviewed By DCLmommaChecked in… went into the room which smelled horrible of mildew and dampness. Began looking around and seeing filth everywhere. Immediately checked out after snapping photos. Both my daughter and I have health concerns and my chest immediately began feeling heavy upon walking in. Attempting to get a refund through or third party who stated it should be no reason not to receive based on the photos. I wish I could upload all the photos. Do not stop here… keep driving. This was not a whoops moment of forgetting to clean an item or two. My daughter stated (and I agree) that it looked like a motel room you’d see on a crime show.

When I come across a Hotel that goes out of their way to treat me nice and has great rooms, I write a review The lady was so kind when I got here, she went to out of here way to make sure I got settled in quick. Lastly, the bed was phenomenal!
