Nice breakfast

Reviewed By PhilipYos

This hotel offers very small rooms, more like a cabin on a cruise boat. Staff not very informative at check-in and check-out, didnt even try to make guest feel at home. Everything is very much standard or below. 2 positive - breakfast and a clean room.

Kristian and his wife Guri we're excellent in recommending things to do and ensuring we have everything we need! I must recommend the Kayak experience, was a big highlight given the perfect weather and the person which took us (sorry i dont remember his name) was fun and helpful to have around. We also highly appreciated being given the hottub all day free of charge, thank you Kristian!

Anker Brygge Rorbusuiter AS

Anker Brygge consists of highly comfortable rorbu suites spectacularly situated on its own little island named Lamholmen in the middle of Svolvær harbour. The resort is connected to Svolvær city central with a bridge and we have free parking outside on our own parking lot. Living at Anker Brygge you are within a 200 meters range from the Town Square, Hurtigruten and small shops and galleries. All suites are traditionally built and fully equipped for today`s standard – making your stay with us nice and comfortable. From all of our rooms/rorbuer you have an amazing view to the sea and mountains surrounding our world famous islands. On the outside quay of your cabin/rorbu you can enjoy your morning coffee or you might try to catch your own fish? At Anker Brygge we also offer a solid and traditional meal at our highly recommended Gourmet Restaurant named “Kjøkkenet” . Lamholmen has been inhabitated since the early 1800`s. There were several fish-companies, fish treatment factories, a barrel factory and "rorbuer", barns and houses on the island. The fish products from Lamholmen was mainly exported abroad to Italy, Spain, Portugal and Brazil. Today you can feel the atmosphere from the old days in all of our rooms. You still get the feeling of the era when life was rough and fishermen came to Lofoten by oars and sails in their small fishing boats from places all over this nations long coastline.

Henningsvaer Bryggehotell By Classic Norway Hotels

Henningsvaer Bryggehotell The charming fishing village of Henningsvaer is situated on several islands. This cluster of islands are surrounded by impressive mountains that steeply rises up from the salty Lofoten sea. There are no shopping centres here, instead there are lots of small and cosy shops, studios, galleries and places to eat. Here you can experience the Midnight Sun, Northern Lights, Autumn Storms and the most amazing Summer Days - all depending on season and weather. But, no matter when you arrive, nature will be beautiful, challenging and setting the mood. Hope to see you!! Ingar Halland Hotel Manager

Nice location, but overpriced for small, hot rooms

Reviewed By M_E_T561

First the good news: very cosy reception and restaurant, nice service, nice location, but the most important is missing: rooms are very small and get hot. As the rooms are small the bed is also rather small. All this makes it difficult to get a good nights sleep, and when this combined with a high price of over 220€/room and a view to a wall or parking lot the equation is not working.

What a beauty!

Reviewed By bastiderschuft

After having stayed on the camping ground nearby for one night last September, we were already in love with Hov. This time, due to the season, we chose to rent a lodge to spend the weekend there. The weather was challenging but that actually made the stay better because the lodges are the perfect hideaway during bad weather. Just chuck in a few pieces of wood into the fireplace that comes along with the place and then you can enjoy the spectacle from the couch. The lodge has everything you need to have a quality stay for a few days or even weeks. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and comes with a relaxing shower (and an extra plus - rituals soap and shampoo). The shared kitchen is equipped with the basics that you need. We were fortunate we had the place for ourselves but even if we had to share it with someone else, it would have been alright because the rooms appear to be soundproof. But if you are a group of friends or plan a family vacation those lodges are a great choice. The location may appear off the beaten track but it is absolutely worth taking a small detour. It isn't that far from both towns of the Lofoten Islands and some other attractions that you can find in the area. The surrounding nature is spectacular and offers (almost literally) a mountain right behind your doorstep. There are some gorgeous beaches in and around Hov that can be used for water activities (if you are keen and willing to hop out into Arctic ocean). Beyond that there are heaps of trails you can just take a hike on. During the summer you can enjoy a round of golf on (if I am not mistaken) the northernmost golf course that has 18 holes. You can also book a horse ride or the sauna (located very close to a beach) at the horse farm nearby that also offers breakfast, dinner and drinks during the summer season. We didn't get to enjoy that due to time of our stay but back in September we enjoyed a lovely breakfast there. There is also a small grocery store in the village a five minutes drive nearby that has all the necessary stuff you need to have for making your own meals at the lodges. Thank you Lofoten Link Lodges for an amazing mini vacation :)

Worth the stay!

Reviewed By breebree94

Really wonderful and cozy! The whole atmosphere is very warm and cozy, feels like home ! With a great common area and small cafe, you feel right at home. We had a private apartment, great size and had everything we needed. Only downside was that it was absolutely freezing despite using the heaters. Unfortunately sauna access is not included in the price (50€ for a 2 person use) (we booked via booking and it mentioned that there was a sauna).

Amazing old building

Reviewed By maxpalmieri1981

The building is really amazing, not so easy to find, maybe a sign will help. The staff was a little rude and not so kind but neither aggressive or unpolite. The room was very very well furnished, even with the smallest sink I've ever seen, it reveals a maniac care of details. Very good experience even if the staff was not present the morning we leave.
