Reviewed By LouisD16230An incredible hotel, very nicely arranged on the inside. The rooms are big, clean and very comfortable. They offer a breathtaking view on the moutains. The service is nice, helpful and the staff makes its best to make you feel welcome. The spa area is huge and offers a great variety of experiences, making it a very nice place. We ate ate the "Spectacolo" restaurant, which offered another wonderful experience.

Reviewed By sunrise457V good Hotel far away in the village but well connected to the nearby tourist spots where you can travel with Public transport for free with passes provided by them. Staff was excellent, well mannered and caring. Food was palatable with extreme care taken for our vegetarian needs. Rooms were neat and comfortable. Hotel facilities like the Sauna, indoor and outdoor pools were very well maintained. Missing was e-charging facility for our hybrid car Overall pleasant stay and highly recommended. Reviewed By Flyer51431544200Nice cosy rooms. Very tidy. Great beds. Wonderful view. Also good chairs to sit and read a book in and good lights to read bed. Real Swiss style interior with woodwork etc. Great restaurant where we had nice meals with are whole family every night. Breakfast very nice as well with broad range of cereals, fruit, cheese meat and excellent choice of fresh teas. Staff very friendly and forthcoming, never have to wait long to be served. Very good with the kids as well All in all Waldrand was a great base for a very relaxing and sportive skiing holiday with kids ranging from 7 to 16.

Reviewed By Venture37643422783This hotel has everything you need. The staff members are very helpful. During corona times it was not busy and they asked us when we wanted breakfast. Next to that our car was stuck related to the fresh snow. All staff members helped us get our car out. Top service guys! The rooms are maybe a bit old, but the bed sleeps comfortable, the room is big enough and the shower is good! Next to that is that the view from the room is just magnificent. You can look right to the mountains from the balcony!

We were greeted by the consternation of the waitress who mentioned the huge inconvenience of putting two tables together for us. She had to consult with her supervisor who replied no, and we were turned away. We assume that this establishment doesn’t welcome paying customers, if this entails rearranging two tables. What a pity, as we holiday in Lenk on a regular basis, but we will not return to this restaurant and will not recommend it further to our family and many friends who come to Lenk. There are numerous other places to eat in Lenk who would gladly, and certainly with more politeness, accommodate new guests

Great Hotel In A Great Location
Reviewed By artnbarb1288Our 4 night stay at Hotel Sternen was very nice. Erika, the owner, was always on hand to answer questions and was always very friendly. When the footboard proved to be bothersome for my husband, we were moved into a different room with no problem. The room itself was nice, a corner room with 2 balconies. There were only 2 drawers (one in each of the bedside tables), and I would have preferred a dresser with drawers. the size was adequate, and there was a flat screen TV on the wall with a variety of channels, a few in English. Our only disappointment was in the pillows: although they looked large, they were under-filled and required some work to make them substantial enough to offer any head/neck support. Breakfast was included, and was very nice, with plenty of options.

Excellent value in a traditional family-run hotel
Reviewed By raytravWe didn't know anything about Lenk before this trip, so we chose Hotel Garni Alpenruh because it was near the train station. An excellent choice! Martin and Sonja and their staff are excellent hosts. When the wifi reception in the room wasn't good, Martin immediately transferred us to a different router. Breakfasts had a variety of local breads and cheeses. We were given cards for travel on buses in the valley (not covered by SwissPass) and gondola lifts into the mountains. Martin gave excellent advice on hiking possibilities. The comparison of what we paid and the value we received enhanced this as an excellent choice! The only drawback was that there was no lift, but this was not a problem.

Reviewed By rfroidevauxVery good hotel for a short stay in La Lenk. It is perfectly located in the center of the village, next to the Betelberg cable car (8mn walk) and the bus stops. There are also stores in the direct neighborhood to quickly buy a pic-nic before going for a trail ;-) Our room was refurbished recently and the we really appreciated the large breakfast buffet ??
