Reviewed By 25nikkiWe came out for one night as this 1.5 hours from our holiday home in spain , booked on the morning booking.com for 80 euros breakfast lunch and dinner , this place is unbelievable the food is absolutely stunning, the staff can not do enough for you , the place is absolutely spotless, they even have complimentary drinks with lunch and dinner , we loved our stay so much we booked another night which they honoured the price we had booked and the next day couldn’t bear to leave so booked another night again with the honoured discounted price . I wish I could give this hotel 5* but can only do 4.9 as the place is a little dated but didn’t bother us as we spent so little time in the room , I honestly can’t fault anything, DEFINITELY worth a visit.

Reviewed By karenpW3277YIBooked a 3 night stay for a few days of chill in what we thought was an adult hotel. On day 2 the place was besieged by a coach loads of teenagers Causing hirendous noise and completely ruining our dinner, which we had obviously paid extra for. Other couples also walked out. We were told by hotel staff that it was ‘ beyond their control’. AVOID this hotel if you want a peaceful’ adult’ getaway.

Hotel & Spa Entremares **** is a unique and privileged haven located on the beachfront of the Mediterranean Sea, within the first kilometre of La Manga, a seaside spit between two seas. Built in 1966 and renovated in 2017, the hotel has 369 simple, spacious and comfortable rooms, all of which have air conditioning, satellite TV, hairdryer, safe (for a fee) and free Wi-Fi.

Reviewed By B5702MMnikkimHow on earth did this hotel get 4* this just confirms...It's who you know not what you know in Spain. My husband and I are 30 years old and found the decor of our room lookrd similar to our grandparents house back in the 90s. We had a lovely balcony with a sea of cars in the car park view. The door frames in the rooms have not been fitted correctly with a huge gap so if someone is in the hall way it sounds like they are in your bedroom. We stayed on the 1st floor and there is so much noise because you can hear the 50 people (no exageration as they were from a bicycle tour) waiting at reception for a single staff member to arrive at the desk and at one point i swear children were playing football in our hallway. All staff do not speak any other languages except spanish so sign/hand language is necessary. For breakfast there is egg, ham, cheese and fruit, for lunch there is egg, ham, salad cheese and fruit and you can only guess what there is for dinner... Egg, ham, cheese, salad, CHICKEN and fruit! You can have some cheap wine and water, no juices as they turn the machines off. They have a bar/cantine area seperate but no table and chairs outside, you have to sit on a wall or restle one of those 50 people you saw waiting in reception for a sunbed to sit on. They do have an outdoor swimming pool which looks nice but we went to the indoor one, free entry if you complete the manditory purchase of a shower cap, towel, flip flops or robe to enter. The Spa receptionist was friendly but we found the use of an indoor pool and jacuzzi expensive at 45 euros each, especially when we found out later that the indoor pool is free with the exception of the shower cap etc, so we never used this. All I can say is thank god we only stayed one night! Some other reviews say good value for money but 100 euro a night is expensive for this, there were so many other things wrong with this hotel but my fingers are getting tired of writing!

Picturesque four stars hotel located in the best area, with breathtaking views of the two seas, less than 100 meters. Totally renovated in 2018, consists of 157 rooms (126 double rooms, 23 double rooms and a living room, 8 with 2 double rooms and a living room) with safe box, heat and cold air conditioning, complete bath with hairdryer, refrigerator, individual terrace, International TV channels, telephone, free wifi, buffet, optional garage, restaurant, meeting rooms, sauna, fitness center and jacuzzi. Likewise the hotel has access for handicapped people. The ideal environment of Mar Menor is an excellent place to practice sports as kite surfing, wind surfing, scuba diving, etc. As well as activities outdoors such as hiking, cycling, walking virgin beaches, etc. Leisure activities, bars, restaurants and shops. Also culture, since only 25 minutes away is the city of Cartagena which has important museums to introduce in its millenary history.

Reviewed By RosehillfinLovely hotel and good location. We were booked in for bed & breakfast but used the restaurant several times for lunch and dinner. All meals are buffet but are excellent value. There was no gluten free bread or cereals on offer that we could see so check in advance if you are coeliac. There was entertainment every night when we were there but the bar is very small with a limited range of drinks. Staff were very nice. Room was lovely and extremely clean.

Reviewed By Tina MThe Villas are very well situated & are celtral to the La Manga area. It is situated at 3K along the Mar Manor. Villas are spotlessly clean & very well maintained. Clean towels daily & bed linen changed so often during our stay. Very clean swimming pool & well kept gardens. Staff are so friendly & helpful. Key security throughout. Gate at the bank of the pool takes you right onto the Mar Manor Beach. Big shout out to La Manga Surf Beach Bar. Loved spending my evening at La Manga Surf Beach Bar until the sun went down. Some fantastic sunsets. Weather was fab. Very cheap accommodation. Loved my stay in the Villas.

Lovely location but the restaurant was awful

The restaurant was probably the worst hotel restaurant we have ever been to. Food quality very poor, very limited choice and it was like a cattle market. The restaurant could not cope with the volume of people.....there were queues to get in, queues to find a clean table, tables were not being cleared promptly and the noise level was enough to give you a headache. The food looked very processed...a lot of what looked like preformed meat, and very little actually fresh or hand prepared food. Salads were ok and they were fresh. Wine and water was included so that was a plus. There appeared to be a lot of coaches coming and going full of Spanish people. We wondered if the hotel was booked with the Spanish pensionista (???) holidays which might explain the restaurant standard and the sheer volume of people.......but we paid full price so should not have had an inferior service. Very disappointed and definitely not a four star hotel restaurant....we have been in better two star hotel restaurants.

Only place to go in matagorda at night is a shopping centre with a few bars and eating places, we caught the bus into Carmen most nights. For me a little quite not much to do

Tired but ok for a 3star
Reviewed By TalldavemA bit tired, a bit scruffy but has all you need. The room was large and clean but very worn and dated, fantastic views and a nice sized pair of beds. In all you get what you pay for and this is great value for money. I would return if it was a little closer to ‘the action’.
