SHADY PEOPLE WORK HERE
Reviewed By Alex MStayed here for a bachelorette weekend, no complaints until after we checked out where the hotel says we charged $60 in food to the room. We confirmed with the hotel that this was not from our group and the hotel claims that the server said it was us and that there is video footage of us ordering the food. When asked if they could provide the footage they refused without a court order. Why would we argue a $60 charge after spending over $3000 on a room for a weekend? Wish the hotel could check their lobby footage to see all of us getting into a black suv together after we checked out, which is before the time on the receipt that charged us for 3 meals under our room. Gustavo is the staff accountant here who is clearly covering something up and refuses to acknowledge that is was wrongfully charged. THIS IS A SHADY HOTEL I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO A FRIEND. Judging from other recent horrible reviews it appears we are not alone.

Nice place, but fix a few things
Reviewed By jongableThe common space at this hotel is quite nice and I the beach and pool areas were very relaxing. My only issue is I found my room to be quite noisy. The AC unit was extremely loud and the toilet ran due to dripping water in the bowl. Without those issues I would have enjoyed my stay more.

Nicest Hotel Staff I have ever encountered

We felt privileged to stay on the top floor and had an ocean view and also a view of the nature preserve on the other side. The people who work there are the nicest I have ever met on vacation! They go out of their way to be helpful. The grab and go coffee shop is really convenient. The only negative is that sometimes they rent part of the resort like certain pools for private events, so you cannot use these facilities from 3:00 p.m. onward. Also, we had a problem with our hair dryer having a 6-inch cord, which made it impossible to plug into the lower electric socket and use. They quickly resolved this for this with a dryer with a longer cord when we asked about this. All in all, it was a very good place to stay. The pool complex and hotel lobby are beautiful, and the resort is in the middle of all the action.

We had a great time at the pool and Diana was very nice and helpful .The breakfast was really great and Jackie was really good to us . Thank you to the amazing people that made our stay very memorable

Dirty rooms and rude ignorant waiter staff.
Reviewed By Frank GI’m not the type of person who complains, but this was absolutely ridiculous. As you can see on the pictures, the room was just nasty, not clean at all and broken items everywhere, dirty walls, missing stucco, carpet smelled dirty, just overall I’m 100% sure the room was not clean or maintenances before we got there. I reached out to five people in management and no one replied back. I contacted the manager on site, and all he could say was say sorry, that is all nothing else really? Now, moving on to the restaurant on site at the hotel. My wife and I went to have breakfast there, I did not know we had to check in at the front because the previous day we didn’t have to. So my wife and I were sitting down on the table waiting for a waiter or waitress to come to the table. As we were sitting there for over 20 minutes, we were looking at the staff about six of them at the front desk looking at us and laughing. I told my wife, “I wonder if we had to go check at the front but we didn’t have to do that yesterday and they’re laughing at us so something must be going on”. I went to the front and I asked the staff if we had the check in and they said yes, one of the staff was the manager, the one who replied. The manager said yes, you have to check in and he said that laughing. I immediately asked him if they were making fun of us and laughing because we were sitting there and he said yes we were. I told him (the manager), that it is not funny, and we didn’t know we had to check in because we didn’t have to do that the day before and it would’ve been nice for you to come and tell us that instead of leave us there for over 20 minutes waiting and laughing at us. I then said “f******” ridiculous for you to do that as a Manager along with your staff as we were walking back to my table with him. He said oh no no no you are not gonna talk like that in my restaurant and I am not gonna serve you. He immediately went and talked to some other Manager and made up this big story that I was cursing out loud and the entire restaurant heard me, which was not true at all.. I have manners and I quietly told him the F word and i know nobody else heard me because there were only two tables with people and were far from the front desk. He was just on a power trip. So long story short he did not let us sit and eat and he kicked us out and it wasn’t until I talked to his Manager (Bob Weiser) the next day that we were allowed back in the restaurant and apologized up and down (even apologized to the waiter right there and there with I said the F word), but was in a mission to show he was In charged. Really bad customer service. The people in Managent who never replied were Jim C, Keith B, Kyle G, Lisa S, Ty B. They obviously only care about their title.

Lauderdale and Miami International Airports. Minutes from the dog track, horse racing, casino, night clubs, golf, tennis, fishing, jet skiing, snorkeling and scuba diving are all nearby!
What has become our Annual Vacation destination
Reviewed By KyfattySmall,older, quaint studio room with a kitchenette. They had everything we could think of to make it like home. Except Air Freshener, but I pack tons of stuff so no issues there! Well stocked with dishes and a hot burner to cook on which we did! We caught the water taxi to the Publix (Galleria stop) picked up surf and turf and had a beachside picnic. Very comfortable bedding with FOUR fluffy pillows, they offered sunscreen and block, beach chairs and towels there are 2 bikes available for 2 hr rides AND books if you want to hang out and read. Directly across from Margaritaville if you want a day pass to swim (resortpass.com) literally steps from the beach. There are tons of places to eat on the Broadwalk, but there's an amazing Deli that's on the water within Walkingdistance on Ocean Dr called ..Giorgio's Bakery & Bistro...the best breakfast spot I've ever had before! We were home less than 48 hrs and we had already booked our return visit for 2023 The staff was very accommodating and nice during our 4 day stay. We've been home less than 4 hrs and we have already booked for Spring Break. If you are looking for frills look elsewhere. Thank you Kevin and team
