Reviewed By Liz-ZilCWe paid $636.95 for 3 nights in Wyndham hotel in Gettysburg, PA for a room that did not have microwave, refrigerator and working WiFi. The room with 2 queen beds was equipped with 1 (one)chair, 2 decaf (no regular) coffee bags, 4 cups with 2 lids. Empty wrapping paper from a candy bar was laying on the floor. Price did not include breakfast, that could be ordered for additional $15.00per person. Swimming pool was crowded throughout the whole time of our stay and when I went there once at 9:30PM there were no clean towels left. Hotel has 3 elevators but, on many occasions, we had to stand in line to be able to use them. The hallway on the 6th floor did not even have working A/C and the air was hot and stuffy. We have Blue Membership card but just because we booked the room via 3rd party website, we could not collect points! My advise is to stay away from Wyndham Hotels as we definitely will never patronize them again!

Reviewed By Nora RWe had a very nice stay at the inn. The hotel is in a great location, and the room was large, clean, and quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. Only negative is that the bed was really hard … so unless you like a super firm mattress, bring along a foam topper!

Reviewed By sw1225We had an overnight here during a family vacation. The location is convenient and easy to find. Staff are friendly and professional. Water bottles and fresh cookies upon arrival were a nice perk! Our room was clean and comfortable. The a/c unit was nice - no noisy cycling on/off, and a quiet constant fan setting helped to block road noise from outside. The odd number rooms face the back, so they might be quieter. Our son was disappointed that the fitness center lacked free weights, but there is a treadmill and elliptical, if you want that. Breakfast was typical Hampton breakfast, fresh, well-stocked, clean area, friendly staff attending. I wish all Hamptons were this well run. I would return to this location, if we come here again.

However, we slept comfortably and well and had a Wonderful Breakfast! I would recommend staying at this charming B&B.

Reviewed By mrskelseyOur 2 kids 11 & 12 had to come to this area for a USA Swim meet. We chose it because the room layout allowed for 2 queens an a sofa bed. The sofa bed was gross (riddled with stains) so they ended up together anyway. They didn’t even include the bedding for the sofa bed per usual on the closet rack as if they knew. None of the rooms were supposed to be smoking yet the odor of cigarettes was strong throughout the entire room. In the main bedroom area our curtains were literally ripped off the track and hanging at the top so we could only get them closed but so much. And we had a 1st floor room facing the parking lot. Thank goodness for the tall bushes outside. The bifold closet door was missing its handle, only a hole there where it might have existed at one point. So my very tall husband had to open it manually at the top where there was a large gap and he could reach in and pull.. The walls are super thin so we could hear the screaming baby next door when we tried to turn in for the night. Doesn’t bode well for athletes who need rest for events the next day. The lights above the coffee maker/fridge/microwave part of the room flickered at low light as if we checked into the Bates motel. If I wasn’t armed with my economy sized Lysol spray it would have been unbearable. Oh and only one of the 2 tv’s worked and although there was an ironing board with an empty holder for an iron, we did not have an iron and had to call for one. We called for a lot of things … but. Well a one night necessity stay. We survived. Skip if you can. Did I mention the coughing children at the super tightly enclosed breakfast room? I believe that covers things. Coffee was great at the coffee bar. Which was not located in that teeny breakfast room but in the spacious open air lobby with soaring ceiling.

Reviewed By TrailBlazer760607Way too expensive for a very old facility which made everything look dirty...even if it wasn't Bed felt like plywood, toilet so tiny and low to the floor, tile dirty, old decor, poor breakfast options were all carbs.

Reviewed By Cld1966We stayed there one night. Convenient location, clean rooms, but not much to write home about. I don’t understand why hotels have wooden floors in the rooms. This is the second one we’ve stayed at like that. It looks beautiful, but does nothing for sound. We could hear neighbors TV and kids, and the music from the room below us. Carpets or rugs absorb the sounds, which is so much nicer. Staff was friendly and helpful.
