Top 10 hotels in Great Falls, United States

July 14, 2022 Kaleigh Reichenbach

Anyone with an interest in history and a love of the great outdoors will enjoy a getaway to Great Falls. Steeped in the traditions of the Old West and chock-full of historic buildings and important landmarks, the city itself is a living museum. But there are also real museums to explore. Check out the Lewis & Clark National Trail Interpretive Center which has interactive exhibits and videos that help you retrace the steps of the famous explorers. The C.M. Russell Museum Complex displays the work of the "Cowboy Artist" Charlie Russell. Families should stop at the Children's Museum of Montana for hours of entertainment. Or walk into the past of the Northern Plains at First People’s Buffalo Jump, where Native Americans used to stampede buffalo over cliffs. Visitors can also take advantage of a wide array of outdoor recreation opportunities. With a fantastic view of the Missouri River, the 24-mile River's Edge Trail is great for walking, biking, in-line skating or jogging. Bird watchers will enjoy the Benton Lake Wildlife Refuge, and hiking, biking and camping opportunities in nearby mountain ranges offer even more outdoor fun.

Historic Hotel Arvon

The Hotel Arvon is focused on providing the unique opportunity to experience Downtown Great Falls in a Boutique Hotel set in the oldest, existing commercial building in Great Falls, dating to 1890. The builder, of what was originally a livery stable and freight transfer office, Mr. Robert Vaughn was the first European settler in this part of the country. His perspective and remembrances were put to paper in his 1899 book "Then and Now... 36 years in the Rockies", we have taken the theme of "Then and Now" to create a property that gives the guest a perspective on the historic building "Then", as well as guest rooms featuring styling and amenities that transport them to "Now". Featuring only twenty-two rooms, and eleven suites, nine of which are extended stay, the size and scope of the property offers the guest a top tier experience in a historic property, listed in the National Historic Registry, and a convenient location near the workings of the City and County government, as well as major employers in the financial services industry. Co-located with The Celtic Cowboy Pub and Restaurant and the Darkhorse Wine Snug and Darkhorse Hall, the Hotel Arvon is a full service" hotel featuring unique guest experiences such as a full coffee bar instead of the traditional 'front desk' as well as a finely equipped fitness center. Also available are conference and banquet facilities in conjunction with the pub, and of course, room service and bar service.

I realize things and times have changed but I recieved a much better price on my room the year before. If u would extend the 92.00 price u had given me the year before I would always stay at your property and bring my team with me. And suggest it to others. Thx Gene PGA

Great Night’s Sleep

Reviewed By Kelly S

Great Hotel! There were many things I liked: four towels in the bathroom (almost unheard of these days in hotels), comfy beds, quiet rooms, and the sinks outside of the bathroom (which I find handy when four people need to get ready to leave)! The lady at the front desk was very nice. When she saw that we were basically 4 adults (mom and dad and two older kids) she gave us extra coffee, without us asking. We didn’t get up in time for breakfast but she also handed us 20% off of Denny’s next door. It’s a little older hotel but things have been updated. I’d never heard of this hotel, but for a reasonable priced hotel, it was wonderful and we will be looking for Crystal Inn hotels in the future when traveling and need a night’s stay. (On this road trip every hotel we booked under the $175 range was terrible except this one).

When we went down for the freshly prepared hot breakfast we were told “quite abruptly” that the kitchen is closed on Sunday and Monday mornings. Price of the stay doesn’t change though….just disappointed

A NICE INEXPENSIVE ROOM

Reviewed By Rayburn9

We stayed there twice and both times our room was clean with no odors. The beds were just okay, not the most comfortable we have slept in and the pillows were okay. The bathroom in the room was ultra small, room for only 1 at a time. The breakfast was not real good the hot dishes were biscuits and gravy and an egg something, not very good. So the cereal and juices or waffle were the choice of the morning.
