Reviewed By Roc-GlobalThe mother of a friend of mine needed medical treatment in Addis, so I secured funds to fly the two of them and a helper to Addis. Since the mother is in a wheelchair and unable to walk, I scouted out the BW Pearl the day prior to their arrival. I inquired about the airport shuttle, walked through the route the mother would take to her to her room, looked at the accessible room, and met some of the staff. Everything was to my satisfaction, so I booked two standard rooms. The day of my friend’s arrival, things went as planned. I was very happy with the hotel staff’s treatment of my friend’s mother. I had a couple of meals at the hotel (nice breakfast spread, by the way) and got good feedback from my friends about the room. My personal experience was very positive, as was my guests. I decided to add an additional 5 nights because of the positive experience. Shout out to Mesfin for going above and beyond.

Staff, especially the restaurant manager whom I found professional, and the waitresses (Meseret and Hiwot) at breakfast are very helpful, friendly and tried to accommodate my needs. The room is fine but due to the hotel location, there are traffic noise. Otherwise, it's central and easy to reach many places on foot. The hotel has a very good SPA and fitness center. Staff are also friendly and helpful. I recommend the hotel for visitors, especially business travelers, as it's convenient and value for many.

Internet always worked, nice warm swimming pool, nice grounds to walk around, activities: tennis, volleyball, basketball, gym, spa, very convenient shopping, 24hr banking on-site, friendly polite atmosphere. Easy to meet people if you want, or keep to yourself if you want. Great place to get picked up and dropped off, because you don't have to wait in the street, or get dropped off in the street. Location is central. Was very clean, no bugs, building is a bit dated, but to me it added to the charm as it has so much history. Staff was professional, friendly, and responsive to anything I asked. Hope to be back someday.

A high-quality luxury hotel

A classy lobby, a nice room, great service, etc. However unlike typically in luxury hotels, the services and the restaurant were very reasonably priced. Upon departure I had a little bit of cash left which I thought I wouldn't be able to use for anything. I had a good dinner in the hotel restaurant and was prepared to pay by card, but to my surprise my remaining cash (worth less than 5 euros) was enough for the dinner. Airport transfer was even included in the room price and it was not a bus ride but a private transfer! It was in an area with a lot of new development going on. Right now there were construction sites all around and the roads around were still dirt roads, but I assume that will change in a year or two. Meskel Square was within walking distance and there was a light rail stop nearby.
