Reviewed By A6649XEemmacJust returned from a week here with friends and family and although overall had a lovely holiday there were lots of points that let this hotel down. Service was hit and miss - we felt like most of the time we were looking to get the attention for someone to serve us whether this be by the poolside or in the restaurants. Often orders would be incorrect when they did arrive, one morning we asked 3 different staff members for our breakfast order to later discover it had not been put through at all - we eventually got our breakfast 45 minutes later. The food choice for evening meals is very limited for a 5* hotel and we very quickly got bored with what was on offer. The hotel is very focused on it’s image when more focus should be on consistent service. The hotel is in a a lovely location it’s very scenic with great sea views but there isn’t a great deal to do in the area. The rooftop pool is beautiful for a day visit. We wouldn’t personally stay for longer than a day or 2 again.

Lovely hotel
Reviewed By T3440GJpatriciaoRooms were too small. Not enough clothing space. Don't think the bed was changed in the 9 nights we were there. So let down by the nightly entertainment, it was diabolical for kids and adults. Never stayed in a hotel where the entertainment was so bad. Went out at night because we couldn't stand the noise from the entertainment area.

This property is 2 minutes walk from the beach. Set just 100 m from Es Canar Beach, Hotel Anfora Ibiza features terraces, swimming pools, kidszone and an outdoor spa and fitness area. Reviewed By Sophie JJust back from 5 days at the lovely, Anfora. The hotel reminded me of fresh linen- everywhere was so crisp, bright and clean. I loved how light and bright everywhere was in the communal areas and the rooms. The breakfast was fabulous, everything you could possibly want to eat. It was relaxed and efficient. There are 2 pools, we only frequented the one at the book of the property. It was beautiful, and we were able to get a bali bed everyday. At times the music from the bar was a little too loud. The hotel is in a superb location, 5 minutes walk from all the restaurants along the beach. There were a few minor grumbles- the wardrobes are bizarre and do not even accommodate the length of a shirt never mind a dress, very odd design. Drinks are excessively over priced, A small water was €3.50 as opposed to 45 cents at the supermarket down the road. Overall, absolutely loved the hotel; perfect for a few days of flop and drop. Be aware there is loud music at night from a nearby hotel but it goes off at 11pm.

Perfect for us
Reviewed By Paul EWe spent the half term holiday here (late May/early June) as part of a package with Jet2. It's a great hotel - rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. It's technically an Aparthotel, which means you can stay self-catering and there's a small kitchen which is hidden away discretely in a wall cupboard in the lounge area, but you can also book half-board for meals in the restaurant. It's equipped to prepare breakfasts and the odd lunch or evening meal and then mix it up with meals out in restaurants in Es Canar. The Atlantic is well located for a short walk to the harbour and beach and just minutes from the small bus station and taxi rank for trips further afield. All of the staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly - a particular note of thanks to the welcome given to us by the night receptionist, when we arrived in the early hours, three hours late following a delayed flight. We'd happily return.

Read reviews, looked at price, hesitated for three days..and then bit the bullet. and boy am I glad we did. Had a lovely week,staff were amazing and could not do enough for you. Carla the animations coordinator works really hard all day, as do all of the staff. We went not expecting much food wise, but we’re pleasantly surprised. There is always something to eat. Salads are lovely as is the fish and pasta. The short walk to the beach makes this a great base and also having lovely entertainment a stones throw from the hotel. Basic hotel entertainment, but drinks were superb. Could not fault them in any way. We had a room with a pool view, basic but spotless and cleaned every day. Fresh towels daily and beautiful towels they were. Never seen any as thick before. Plenty of hot water for your showers, only thing I would say I missed in the room was a small fridge, but I do believe you can hire one. In the bathroom there is a hairdryer and it is really good. Also the free WiFi is brilliant. You can literally get it anywhere. We never had any problems with it. In fact I would say it was one of the best WiFi s we’ve came across. All in all a brilliant holiday for a fantastic price. To a hotel who is definitely ticking all the boxes to improve there rating. L

Really disappointing
Reviewed By msmackayrPerhaps we need to lower our expectations but this place was not good! Having only done a package holiday once in my life, we opted for this as our first trip post-covid and two babies heavier so thought it would be easier. How wrong we were! When we arrived the queue for check in was huge, and not one member of staff apologised or anyone offer refreshments as a good will gesture. With a 2 year old and a 9 month old, and having been up since 4am I found this very frustrating. I also struggled to find the baby changing for both my children who needed it after our long journey, and only when another parent saw me looking lost did he stop and tell me where it was. I then did the same for another mum half an hour later who was walking round holding her baby and change bag, looking for baby changing. Please sort your signage out as I'm not the only one who has mentioned this! When we arrived at our 2 bedroomed apartment, the two travel cots and highchair that we had pre-arranged were not there. Another trip over to the main hotel because our kids were desperate for a nap! Only one was provided with the promise of one later, but at 10pm it was evident it wasn't coming so yet another trip over to the hotel to request the second cot. We also discovered no kettle or toaster, which wouldn't have been a problem but we had baby milk to make! Once again, over the reception again. The overall finish of the apartment was poor and pretty basic. The lifts in the main building were tiny and one did not work all week, so we had to spilt in to two groups to get up and down due to the fact that we had two buggies with us. I noticed that a family had a double that they needed to leave in the foyer because it wouldn't fit in the lift. One of the main reasons we booked this accommodation was because to was family friendly and our toddler would have loved the splash[spark. That was a major attraction to us, but most of it was closed all week for maintenance. To my knowledge not maintenance was done all week! The part that was open was a little too old for our son, so it was really disappointing. In all honesty, it really wasn't our kind of place and very 'brits abroad' and the family in the next apartment to us smoked weed all week which was not pleasant. Being stuck there all week would have been my idea of a nightmare, but we had a hire car and were able to explore the island. The overall communication and friendliness of the staff was so poor that I couldn't have left soon enough!

Excellent base for Es Canar
Reviewed By DazEastyBeing regular visitors to Es Canar we have never been disappointed with any of the accomodations we have stayed in and this one is no different, absolutely perfect for our needs and budget, ideally situated just off the main throughfare of the resort and a 5 minute walk to most of the amenities/beach/bus station. We were welcomed the minute we arrived by the friendly staff who had even put us a kettle and 2 cups in our room on request and believe me that was a massively welcomed addition. The room was basic but very clean and spacious with 2 single beds pushed together and a seperate single bed too, remote controlled tv and aircon, seperate bathroom with the most powerful shower i've ever experienced and the other half loved the (half) bath. A large double window opened up onto a spacious balcony with a small table, 2 chairs and a sun lounger, although the sun was at the wrong side of the building for us it was still a nice addition to sit and have a drink on. There was also a fridge and a safe in the room as well as plenty of storage for clothes. We would definitely stop here again - Thanks for a lovely stay.

Jacaranda apartments are well situated being almost centrally located in Es Cana, yet quiet and relaxing, down a small side-street leading to the coast. All 16 apartments have balconies or terrace, most with seaviews. The rooms offer: Flat screen satellite TV, Air conditioning (optional extra if required), and a cleaning service with towel change every third day. Bed linen is changed once a week.Safety deposit box in each apartment ( optional extra charge).Free Wifi internet.Fully equipped kitchenette with cooking utensils in kitchen and full bathroom. Studios are 2 twin beds, basic kitchen amenities (not kitchen) with bathroom.

Reviewed By jackeE8419ZIWow! I stayed with friends at the jacaranda apartments for a week and it was absolutely amazing! Firstly the staff where very accommodating and gave us a free upgrade to a bigger room when we got there. Jonalene at reception was absaloutly amazing and made checking in and out very smooth and also gave us a later check out when our flights got delayed. Also the lounge area was so beautiful and creates a relaxing and and vibrant feel, perfect place to kick back and have drink by the pool. Will definitely be staying here when we come back. :)
